Saw him listed in the Primavera squad which is positiveHard to find out, but highly unlikely. They play top tier Primavera, so hopefully there. Worst case would be U18's.

the mls is a much better league than the a-league. opta's data shows that the best a-league team (melbourne city), would be the second worst mls team. several usl teams, are at the level of mid-table a-league teams. the best mls teams would fight for promotion in the premier league. This move feels like, at best, a lateral step for Goodwin, who clearly has a natural instinct for goal. Hopefully he thrives and uses this as a platform to secure a move to a top league. That said, there's a concern his career could stall, as we've seen happen with some other Australians in the MLS
May Ryan still without a club isn’t great
Fun city. Better food. I'd jump at it in his shoes.
I can only currently think of Jason Cummings, Jamie Maclaren, Dimitri Petratos & Ryan Williams. Papas has moved to Japan and Murray to Malaysia.Really?
We have quite a few coaches and players in the ISL.
When I travelled in India 45 years ago for a lengthy period of time, hockey was the next most popular sport after cricket. I'm told now by Indians, that football is easily the second most popular sport after cricket. Indian cricket is extravagantly rich and dominates global cricket.
I assumed the ISL would be cashed up? Years ago corruption, baksheesh, was rife. I expected the ISL to progress forwards like the Chinese league.

Congrats on dropping the shoulder into Messi at a WC. An ever frustrating player when it mattered in that he'd just flail a shot over for youth national teams and for Australia he'd often trot around like Bellingham or Kyrgios.Bacvus to st mirren
Moves such as Chris Donnell's back to the A-league rather than playing underage football at a big overseas club is a much better option now that there are clearly significant scouting eyes on the league.Chris Donnell is playing for Victory in their friendly today but has yet to be announced as a new signing.
While Matthew Dench is on trial at Brisbane
These players over there need to seek EFL loans. The main thing is playing against men. Coming to the A League is good too when there are a few spots in teams available. We needn't worry about the exodus as this opens the door for these players and local youth to enter the league.Moves such as Chris Donnell's back to the A-league rather than playing underage football at a big overseas club is a much better option now that there are clearly significant scouting eyes on the league.
It is clear now that you have better prospects of a move abroad into senior football by tearing up the A-league than trying to impress at somewhere like the Fulham U21s.
Agree a starting spot in L1 or even L2 would have been fine. These players over there need to seek EFL loans. The main thing is playing against men. My one issue is the A League starts much later and has less football on offer. Donnell in League 1 or 2 would be fine.
English based players are overpriced so they tend to stay in englandAgree a starting spot in L1 or even L2 would have been fine.
But how much better will his prospects be if he has a good L1 season, compared to a good A-league season where he might stand out just that bit more?
Are Austrian bundesliga sides for example buying players from L1 or L2? I genuinely don't know the answer to that question, but we do know that they're buying players from our shores so that has to mean something.
