Burnley at home should be an easy win for Spurs to open the season but then they have City away the week after, not sure how they'll run against a new look Man City side with Bernardo Silva as captain.

Spurs have no depth though, so unless they rest players in the PSG game it will be a tough game.

I shudder every game against them over the years despite them going up and down, never easy and thats from a leading club follower perspective, as mentioned after that PSG game that they will be ripped I expect.
I expect Peps rebuild with players he knows suit his style will perform do well and welcome for Frank.

Liverpool received a total of £174.9m in prize money for winning the Premier League in 2024-25.

All 20 clubs earn a share of Premier League prize money. The amount each club receives depends on their league position and number of televised matches.

Prize money consists of UK and international merit broadcast payments, equal shares, commercial revenues and facility fees.

The Premier League champions earned £53.1m in basic merit payments last season, plus an additional £24.9m in facility fees.

In comparison, bottom club Southampton received £2.6m in basic merit payments and £9.7m in facility fees.

Clubs are also paid a facility fee for matches broadcast on domestic TV.

Liverpool had 30 of their 38 league matches televised - more than any other club.

All clubs received a central commercial payment of £7.9m and equal shares from UK (£29.8m) and international (£59.2m) revenues.

According to the Premier League, more than £550 million has also been committed to supporting the wider game.

I liked the look of Arsenal's midfield when Zubemendi and Odegaard came on in the second half against Milan in their friendly and joined Rice in a three..

I really like the cut of Zubemendi. He looks like a solid #6 when he's defending, an inventive #8 going forward and the quintessential #10 in the attacking third. And when Arsenal were pressing he's like a crab with 10 legs!!

He can interchange with Rice, he can interchange with Odegaard.

Very classy addition to the Arsenal squad.
