Just going back to this. Do you feel the same about the npl clubs representing their countries? Because by your logic we shouldn't have any Croatian chants or Greek chants at the football if we can't have the anthemI don't think there should be any anthems of any sort at any football game including national team games. It's all bullshit nationalistic posturing.
yep. our final was against Brisbane Roar the week before at home. We looked gassed in the final, offered very little. That's where I was funny enough. Your team played poor that night.
Disagree.I don't think there should be any anthems of any sort at any football game including national team games. It's all bullshit nationalistic posturing.
They needed only 1 penalty to beat us .... im sensing a patternyep. our final was against Brisbane Roar the week before at home. We looked gassed in the final, offered very little.
It took 2 penalties for Macarthur to beat us in the final. The better team won, but i could only imagine the celebrations if we took it home.
What an odd thing to say mate... Do Aleague fans ask for permission from the club and the federation regarding what they do or don't chant at the football??Just going back to this. This guy brought up a national team playing without their national anthem so does that apply for the npl teams? What an odd thing to say mate... Do Aleague fans ask for permission from the club and the federation regarding what they do or don't chant at the football??
You guys really ARE "football but NOT as you know it" eh?
BTW, interested to hear of any Greek chants at the football, I havent heard one in around 30 years I reckon and I go every week. Only foreign language Ive heard in the past few seasons is at Hume City but to be perfectly honest I cant tell if theya re chanting in Turkish or just have really REALLY heavy accents C'mon hooooooooooom![]()

Having been brought to have manners by my parents, sadly both passed, it seems to me that my age has more manners than their generation now (70s and 80s and 90s) as well as the the younger generation.ask that to the ones who are dis respectful.
Sadly as we move forward as I've been told for sometime seems respect what I used to know and brought up with has been going to the weeds.
I agree MCG but hey I'm just a ol stoopid young boomer the young gens think the use by date is done just like manners of old.
Take it up with them please.
the roar game was epic.yep. our final was against Brisbane Roar the week before at home. We looked gassed in the final, offered very little.

please explain ?This guy brought up a national team playing without their national anthem so does that apply for the npl teams?
Well his saying the Australian anthem isn't needed so if he feels that way I'm wondering if he feels the same about npl clubs that represent their countries of birthplease explain ?
Which NPL clubs represent foreign countries mate? Im pretty sure they are all based in Australia, its only the Aleague that allows foreign clubs into its competition.. NPL is strictly about "Making Australia Great Again"Well his saying the Australian anthem isn't needed so if he feels that way I'm wondering if he feels the same about npl clubs that represent their countries of birth
I don't think I have heard a national anthem at a NPL match (outside of Grand Final) EVER!!! Could you possibly point to some instances or tell us about your personal experience? This is fascinating btw...This guy brought up a national team playing without their national anthem so does that apply for the npl teams?

All good sunshine.... Don't give in to the false narrative mate... Can't tarnish every single NPL club because of the actions of a couple of dickheads... just like you dont want us to judge Aleague clubs on the actions of piss stained bucket boy ....Ehh forget it it's Friday I might have been blabbering to much
