It was well done, congrats to all involved.... Not the sort of thing I would personally be interested in following but wish you all the best success.

Why don’t we/you set up a donation thread at times of need - I’m sure a fiver or more amongst some of us here happy to contribute will soften the blow and just lag them like once a month or 2 for eg

I thought of this last night too.

Great minds think alike - or - fools never differ, LFC!

I'm deadly serious about fining persistent trolls on here. Each time they are banned they pay to be reinstated on G and G FC, where the money can be put towards a new podcast. Increase the fine each ban. A tiny minority boast elsewhere on another forum how they troll on G and G FC. I'm happy for the trolls to subsidise podcasts.

I'm thinking of where else to promote G and G FC, and podcasts are a point of difference.

I hadn't listened to many before, but I enjoyed every podcast. I learned a lot too.
 
Maybe if we send money to Pasquali for a podcast fund, as the kitty piles up, a new podcast can be made?

What do others think?

I live close to Pasquali and I'd prefer to hand over cash.

DD will alert my better half to donating to what I think is an admirable cause, but she doesn't! To her credit she watches Matildas and Socceroo games on TV and attends live football games.

I even thought if 10 of us hand $50 each to Pasquali, that is enough for 10 podcasts. I'm willing to do it. 20 of us handing $25 each is harder to organise.

Another option is to go down the advertising road. Then Pasquali might make a profit.
 
mate seriously, I'm sure doing a DD noting in the reference - Union Politics - she'll understand completely and approve haha

The conservative capitilist I am I'm good being one of the 10 donating $50 pity its not tax deductable lol......

Yeah I guess the hold up is I don't know how much money would come in but don't want to take money before the next episode in case the money isn't enough so I want to wait for a month where if the money is a tiny fraction of the cost I can pay for the lot. Next month I have to pay for a new bed for one of my boys and a birthday for the other. So I probably have to wait until July. I get 2 modest raises scheduled in the august-december period and can apply for a substantial raise at Christmas but would like to keep up the pods going before then. I have a lot of really interesting guests planned

If people pay @Pasquali that could probably help us do episodes before that but I'll let him weigh in. I'm not sure of the views of other poddies @zimbos05 @AliG040803

that would be extraodinary generosity. If people can cover the pod until May next year (where I'm due 15k in visa fees plus 15k debt for the last visa fees, but after ILR I get a lot of extra revenue) I can cover the lot

don't forget patreon support comes with the right to ask a question of guests and hosts (including the fa person in charge of the nst)

We are also looking for people willing to join us on 10-15 minute live streams that will occur everytime there is breaking news, just to try and fill the gap in media coverage of the game. Because it is live streamed, it will be free to produce. We are hoping for a panel of 5 each time including myself and Alex. It can be different people each time. So please mention below if you would like to be involved in live streams (It will include video, ideally)
