New national team kit 21 Feb

Hmmm I don't like the zig zags on the pitch and surely that's for a training shirt. Wonder when they'll be popping up on Dhgate.
 
Matildas to wear it in game next week. All happening very quick.
 
Early morning in Oz but I'm surprised there hasn't been a pre teaser leak by someone.

Surely today some images will circulate. My dhgate account is about to get a workout.

Weird that we're out of sync with Nike in general, but still

Generally, our kit releases should now be:
2024: Men's
2025: Women's
2026: Men's
2027: Women's
etc etc etc

This would put us now at:
2022: Men's
2023: Women's
2025: Both
2026: ???

Have seen some Nike leaks for the women's kits of other nations, but not Australia - will share some images when it lets me.

If this is it I’m not sold on it. Don’t like the black (?) collar and side panels. And I suspect the shorts would be yellow too, which I also don’t like in principle (they should always be green). Or what would be 100 times worse, black shorts, a la late 90’s. Black is not one of our national colours.

Thats just a training kit right? .... right? ......
 
Would prefer separate kits for the blokes and the girls.

I like the Matildas recent efforts better than the men's. Plus it sets up a friendly rivalry as to who has the better gear.


Also cue outrage over 'indigenous artist' input. I can almost hear the cries of WOKE from here.

Dont know about dots and swiggles being woke, but shithouse is fairly apt.....
 
Also just saw $180 for the adult shirt.

Fuck off.

Costs the pricks all of $10 to make. (Probably less.)

Make them $90 or so and they still make a killing. FMD.
