Saw the kits in person today, the home kit has a nice texture to it. Away terrible quality, feels like from a really cheap Viet bazar.

These kits remind me of 90's surf gear.

The away particularly looks a beach rashie.

The kits kinda growing on me. I have mates that aren't fans at all. I'm disappointed in the training gear though, they coulda had more stuff, like a black training top.

One thing though is it's a flashy kit and we aren't a flashy team. I get superstitious with this stuff and it feels like it's inviting bad luck.

Give it some time and kitmm or kitgg will have the kit with the Nike logo and all.

So what I understand from that (and another video in FB with the artist speaking on the inspiration) - and I understand this may be the cynical/ignorant take - is that he’s made a National team kit, based off designs significant to his mob, but not particularly all over Country?

Again - the design to me could have worked, it’s the colour/shade selection that puts this down to me.
