NPL 2025

yeah you can, support your club. Olympic has started to become like marconi & APIA, it's a morgue.

Only Rockdale, United, Wollongong get crowds.
I have been borderline religiously going to South games for the past decade... Its fucking miserable. Most of the games are fucking freezing cold, the league is run like a complete scam, after you win a few trophies there is little to play for outside of bragging rights and the FFA cup.

Through suffering and pain comes football glory :)

yer it is sad when you turn up to games and the crowd is average.
Derbies are ok but they are getting thinner.
I don't like Rockdale games though, you wonder when a missile is going to just miss you walking back to the car haha
Let alone making sure you lay low the team you support.
Christ even at Prem 1 level when I go watch the son play last couple of seasons, they go off even in those games when the game and ref to them goes against them.
This level needs this NST re birth big time.

2 experienced commentators up in NSW NPL both gone and not doing commentary for the 2025 season which are Tony Tannous and Will Gotsis.
thats a real shame, both were great commentators in NSW NPL and had a real passion for the game.

A question for WA, SA, QLD, NSW and TAS NPL fans.... Do any/some/most of your clubs have jerseys with player names on the back? Its very uncommon here in Melbourne (Im guessing from a cost perspective and or because team managers are usually volunteers and dont have the time)

I was just thinking that this should be a common practice for NST team at the very least...

I feel left out here - but in ACT not a regular as well. Only Gungahlin Utd do from memory.
I think every club has two different sets here for First Grade and 23s as well.

There's a club in Griffith that don't do names on the jersey, but each player from I think U12s and up have their own number (eg, not repeated elsewhere in the club), so that if there's ever a need to play up a grade, they can just use their own jersey.
