There is no indication that the 9 people in that photo are South Melbourne supporters, and they are certainly not welcome at Lakeside....

No this wasn't the group of Golden Dawn supporting Melbourne Victory fans (allegedly Horda, iykyk) that rocked up to the Preston v South game. The original image was posted to Facebook by "Ultra Banter Australia' in 2016. The people in the photo are apart of an Australian far right 'group' (UPF). The photo is very clearly taken in the CBD.

I'm sick of this shit.

Ummmm I dont know the parentage of the photo (like the original poster probably doesn't know their own parentage) but the Australian Open is on at the moment and these sort of right wing dropkicks tend to gravitate around there... certainly weren't at Lakeside yesterday.... that flag would have been rolled up and forcefully inserted somewhere uncomfortable if they were.



Edit .... Sorry just read southoftheyarra's post about it being from 2016 :) Explains it then, just plastic fans on twitter dredging up shit about Hellas as they watch their franchsies die.... sad.

Yeah, in the same boat as those who's response to football clubs in this country having any aspirations is to justify sub par Aleague crowds as "developing new markets", ""give them time" .... "3K people in an Aleague match is somehow a massive improvement on 4K people at an NSL match 20 years ago ... because of ..... well.... something or other" or the doozy "It's a growth corridor, once the stadiumis built they will be MASSSIVE" etc etc etc.
 
Some wnkr who openly can claim #deathtosmfc with some post pic attached that has been proven previously had nothing to do with smfc is testament to the deep complexes still alive!

The headcount via 1 photo as proof, was a new low though i must admit!

Anyone else find it ironic and hypocritically rich, given the renouned and well documented history of his dutch ancestry, that he can point the moral finger at anyone for their political beliefs without acknowledging sth aftica, south asia etc etc etc. !?!

Just to clear this up. The first post is by Matt and is just a pisstake of the infamous smfcmike's crowd counts and #deathtoaleague etc. The second post isn't from Matt.

Anyway, it's good to know that crap is in the past, nearly a decade ago.
