Core isn't just Bosnians - it's mostly Greeks but with Bosnians, Italians, Turks, Albanians, Aussies. Whereas City it's more South American, Islander, Maltese, Serb, Polish, Maco etc.
 
Was a really good game of football. Thought Heidelberg were the better team outside the first 10-15 minutes of the 2nd half but were just wasteful in the final third.

Very nice equaliser from Preston although heidelberg shot themselves in the foot by constantly trying to play out from the back and were l
punished. Preston did well to survive the last 10.

Some key players still out/returning for Preston so i think they will gradually get better.

I heard Preston had a viewing of the game back at the club, not sure how much truth to that. Crowd probably settled in at around 2.5k which is decent for a neutral venue. Good turnout from both sides but cant but feel it would have been much bigger at the village.

Expecting 5000+ next week and a much more direct and physical game.

So to establish this in the right context, with the NSL you knew which "wogs" were fighting which other "wogs"... then those damn efniks changed it up, and put all their pre franchise differences aside, deciding
in the name of "new australia multiculturalism" to work together, keeping those nice "anglosaxon - here for specticle family types" fearing for their lives and staying away in their droves.. someone forgot the Croats from the above list mind you, or did they retire altogether? 🤔

Now thats a narrative without flaws! 🙄😛
 
They tried to get it into the ground last night but were turned away at the gate, the worrying thing is if they didnt make it so obvious who they were (trading insults with the Preston fans from outside) they may have gotten in.

Lets see how they go next week. The entry points at Preston wont be next to eachother like HOTM so they may get in.

I was keen to see how they'd go after how they played against us. Ridiculous match defining decision.
 
Same thing happened in the Altona game. Would have probably won without a terrible referee decision sending a player off.
 
First win of the season 2-0 against WSW NPL, in almost 40 degree heat.

Spirit 4 from 4, perko doing some good things up there.
 
Tsenkis fucked up. Made a triple change with a few minutes to go to see the game out but it unbalanced the team and allowed St George to equalise. Three points thrown away. Still we had a good night of pizza and wine so not all bad.
