100% only issue not only does said franchise refuse to acknowledge it and stamp it out.

They actively allow them to attend games. They'll all be at the game tonight and it will all carry on like normal

I messaged them on Insta highlighting this fact. Unbelievable especially with the advent of Google News and the like that can discriminate information on mass. They have the social media down at, they just need to lock in on legacy media.

Who is running it? The FFA, the clubs, someone else.

I was devastated when they got rid of NPL TV. I was a paying subscriber. There seems to be no direction or vision, so we need to scrap state feds. They are a roadblock to the greater scheme of things.

I'm happy with everyone on YouTube but if one state or two decide to do their own thing it shows disunity and amateurish behaviour.

The Crawford Report recommended abolishing the state federations and 22 years later they are still around like a bad smell.

It's just added bureaucracy that slows down progress. The NPL has been around for 10 years and the NT still has no plan, not much has really changed from the old state league days and it took breakaway clubs to form the shell of a 2nd division. What is the KPI for the people on 100$k+. More of the same?

Next week, we have Preston v Heidelberg at the HOTM because of fictitious security concerns. What are these people doing to address the issues for the fans?

Isn't that half the point? Rego fees are going to pockets of people who have zero idea. There needs to be a cull.

I don't think removing the state feds would 'improve' the quality of Australian football in any way... You need a 'governing body' (in the loosest possible way lol) to help out with any level of comp in that state. Literally every country with more than 1 region or state does this. A small trimmed down governing body will make things worse.

Bro, we are saying the same things.

I want a 'governing body' in the loosest possible. That means not having a bunch of feds doing their own thing. I still like the npl.

Imagine running a business like that. You Maccas and a bunch of franchisees can't make burgers so they sell waffles instead. That's what it feels like at times.

You can't expect Football Australia to be running the whole show, you need to be able to delegate more region specific matters to that region. It would be like not having a premier of Victoria, NSW, WA etc

A somewhat similar thing has happened in Queensland. A couple of seasons ago, Football Queensland abolished the regional football federations (e.g., Football Wide Bay, Football Central Qld, Football North Qld, etc) and FQ took over the day-to-day running of the regional areas, with everything decided by and directed from FQ in Brisbane. It has been a disaster for football in regional Qld, i.e., anything outside the South-East corner (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast).

You shouldn't be letting it loose and letting others with agendas running the show independently. I can't wait for FQ to provide 5 points for attacking play this year and 3 points for a try.
