Agree, bullshit call... yellow for professional foul OK, but there was still a defender to beat ...def NOT denial of clear goal scoring opp....

NPL VIC refs are garnagae .. Look at this howler we copped last week (courtesy of smfcmikes super slow mo) .

Not only wasn't the pen give, Andy got booked for simulation..... its a farce.

Bergers were the better team overall

The #4 ali?
#6 lesiotis, ngor, bul juach are top notch footballers. Same story for them as the dinamo game. Missed chances cost them and they let us back into the game.

We were contemplating hosting something at the club but we didn't in the end.

Alot of people turned off by the move to hotm. Knowing the parking situation etc. Heaps were keen to head to Olympic Village but decided they'll just get together and watch from home.

Also expecting 5k plus this Friday. Especially it being a long weekend down here.

Yeah it was a pretty entertaining match overall, it WAS the Bergers to lose though... Jeggo is a superstar...

Yeah can't wait till Friday...... If we win tonight it will 2nd v 3rd with EVERYTHING at stake .... I predict a dramatic match........
 
NPL Queensland is the best IMO. Shout out to them for having matches go late into the night on a Sunday. I love it. WA sucks because they are all at the same time on a Saturday.

3 x weeks ago the story was a little different:

I think the City v Macarthur crowd will be ok, it will be a warm night in Melb and i'd be surprised if 5k didnt turn up at least. Who gets the bigger crowd will be marginal. The difference will be one venue will be a sea of empty green seats whilst the other will be close to full.

As for the game, due to the crowd i think Preston will be difficult to beat at home all season. Specifically this Friday a lot will depend on the status of Bell, Markovski and Guy...thats a dangerous frontline, if those 3 dont come up we will have a better chance as we would only need to contain Brooks for the most part.

Will be interesting to see if we can pack out the away end again like last year.

I cant fathom why they didnt leave the hill behind the goals and put a smaller stand on the opposite side to the main stand given its not restircted by room or anything... town planning at its best once again!
