NRL 2025

Well if we could kick the series would be over.
Yep blew those chances it was over.
Blues didn’t get into gear well enough to me - not fluent enough a lot of the game and handling errors too much even though wet.

also Cleary's disallowed try re obstruction, seriously they were not going to get to him period.
That was a soft ruling.
Also the pen count, like 8-0 for most of the game ended 10-2.
No sour grapes you can see Blues are the better all round stronger squad game 3 should be in their hands.

I agree on the disallowed try, but it was very dumb of Stefano to get in the way like that.

I think that he was trying to back up to get onside in case Cleary needed to pass to him. Perhaps turn around and face the direction un which he is intending to run?

I think that a NSW win in game 3 is the most likely result.

Some of the penalties were warranted and were either sloppy, lazy or brain explosions from some of the NSW players.

I also agree that a few more penalties could have been blown against QLD.

Holding down or westle in the ruck after the call of held is a grey area. Whatever the ref decides for that game, try to apply the same standard to both sides.

QLD need to hold down in tackles and keep a very skinny 10 to be sure of stopping NSW rolling through them. If the ref is too strict or relaxed in that area it can affect the game, if he treats the teams differently, it can decide the game.

I am amazed with less than 2 minutes to go that a team 6 points behind with less than 2 minutes to go kicks long rather than chip and chase.

Not the first time I have seen a play like that.

Tits and Des probably deserve the spoon.

channel 9 intro trying to convince the audience desperately that the states still hate each other haha

It's been a while since the ideological war about pokie machines

QLD's kick diffusal has been pretty average this series. If it was average rather than poor they probably win at home and we don't need to win a decider away from home. Away from home the kick diffusal will need to be elite to have a chance imo

QLD's kick diffusal perfect so far. Need to keep it up for 80 minutes

That try was earnt by perfect discipline in a grind after a harsh pen conceded by QLD (not contesting the ball when he almost caught it?) Was 6 minutes before a stoppage and NSW just stopped out of gas

I don't think I've ever seen a more perfect half of football in terms of discipline from QLD

Need to back it up in the 2nd half unlike last month

last game the 2nd half qld allowed nsw back in with poor kick diffusion. If that improves they have a great chance here

21 out of 21 set completion rate for Queensland in the first half and they ended up taking a 20-0 lead into the half. NSW need to step up in the second half if they want any chance at retaining the shield by the end of the game.

well it's a simple game apparently. Complete your sets, hit the line hard, no silly penalties, have a good line speed and diffuse kicks and you walk to victory

didn't even need to chance our arm

Credit to billy slater, we were disfunctional in game 1. We fixed our red zone attack and ability to compete in the arm wrestle but were disfunciton in red zone defense and diffusing kicks. Game three we had no flaws in the game. If it went to game 4 or 5 could start building on the attack

Daley
WTF
Gets schooled once again.
I thought at least with the talent he had at his disposal on the pitch they would make it But with that wood duck of a coach.
Was a great player but he’s hardly shown he has the nouse coaching.
Good on qld a typical win nothing new and also NSW blowing it.
Some things never change.
