Official LFC - Slotball 24/25

How many leagues is this Aleague thing you are talking about the "premier" of? NONE, its a stand alone unit.... and always will be. Should be called the franchise super league.

6 of the young players that finished the game for Sydney FC against Wrexham in front of 40K, were all Manly (NPL) juniors, their 6-8 year olds photos of their local clubs were plastered all over my social media, clubs my teams play against every week.

The ref who referee the final of the Club World cup did so because he referees in the A-League. There is a EPL ref who came from the A-League
The coaches plying their trade O/S like Ange & Kevin Muscat all did so after coaching in the A-League.
I already mentioned all the players playing in Europe, America & Asia all coming from A-League.
Sydney FC, West Sydney Wanderers & MacAurther all play in the NSW NPL.
Many of the kids coming thru at SFC now have been since 10 years old.

Is there more they can do Ken Oath!!!! Are they doing more than the NSL day, yep all over it.

I want pro/rel, but I don't have a say at FA or APL.

In summary to robbos's post # 162 if it wasn't for the NPL non of this would be happenning for thankfully NPL is a big pice in the background puzzle :) for without it there they can't do it by themselves.
They are doing it more now thankfully but not producing anywhere the likes of Dukes/HK as we've agreed on becuase non have made it in top flight and forged on careers.
I wish but even CJ beat the pants off them all being we're in LFC thread.

Yes without NPL, yes A-league would not get the players, hence 6 juniors at SFC were Manly juniors, so there is a connection to the A-League Franchise.

As for challenging this season I see it coming big time robbos from the gooners finally, they have bought up alot as well, chelsea are starting to settle now as they showed in the CWC, I think they will be much stronger this season.
Then we got the Pep resurgence, no way they gonna bottle it like last season, Rodri is back, bought more players also they will be back int he hunt no doubt.

Nah I disagree... I think Arsenal are going to have a horrible season..... mid table at best... Pep maybe challenging again, but honestly I think the Goons are done.

yep NPL is a major foundation what the APL use and abuse unfortunately, wish the NPL could get paid a heap more for the background work but thats the FA end to resolve.

Yeah I'm with you, don't think the Gooners are there, Pep will be there, but losing De Bruyn is massive & talk Rodri going to Real Madrid, they may take a season or 2 to come back.
Chelsea is my opinion the big worry.

DUDE NPL players make more than enough... in all honesty, the levels below need funding alot more urgently...

Agree regarding Chelsea.... The one club Im fascinated to see is Spurs.... Part of me wants them to tank badly for sacking Ange but I have a feeling Franck will get the most out of his meagre squad.... might get slaughtered in UCL but do OK in the league.... it will be an interesting season. Big things ahead for the reds though, that much is clear.

Arteta is a snake, don't trust him but he seems to get those mugs to play and play dirty mind you.
We shall see.
You guys are more confident than me at this stage.
We also have to adjust to alot of changes, our play is going to change, we also may lose Diaz yet and there was talk of Macca being sought out.
Ibo also is still iffy not sure he's renewed new contract as well.
Sure our buys have been great but they have to adjust there's alot to go down yet.
 
I'm sorry for Spurs purely for the Ange factor but I think Frank is up the poop by xmas.
IF they don't get higher up the ladder by then he's doomed I reckon.

Levy seems to have loosened the purse strings a lot more for Franck which should set him up for success, which for me irks because he didn’t really do that for Ange.
