Thanks Mono, for obvious reasons (depsite the well documented nst shortfalls) i have to admit i am overly excited/eager for this upcoming season.. may well make for a great xmas gift even! Perhaps our marketing team is working on something extra special even... 🤔... here's wishing!

I have to agree, they are very fan focused in their marketing overall and thats to their credit, bc it gets ppl through the turnstyles as it has shown...
We can only hope that this year our marketing team is readily taking advantage of all opportunities it has on offer and that it trickles down to the supporters to turn them into members!

Im eager for EVERY coming season, at least until our first loss and then the complaining starts... :P I think our marketing team is pretty on point, Im sure something will be announced soon.

I think Preson is doing a great job but its NOT exactly the same path I think we should take... Preston are mainly targeting their marketing towards the North Macedonian community and power too them. South should aim for much more than that....
 
Could anyone work out the name of the new #9 on the Mells podcast, sounded South American (?), I don't know if I'm grasping at straws...

I went to this club screening last night at the Astor and all I can say is that it blew me away.. totally exceeded all expectations.. It was funny, sad, exciting and deeply nostalgic all at once... The guys, as outsiders to both the game and the club, jhave done an exceptional job and something all fans of Australian football would love... And NO not just the old NSL people too, truly even new Aleaguef ans should watch this, with an open mind if they can, I think it will give some clarity on why we who lived the times before dont focus on the ills of the NSL but rather on the joys of it....

Great news is that the guys are off to Torino international sport film festival where they have been nominated for a couple of awards and then, in 1st quarter 2025 it is scheduled for cinematic and streaming release .....

@LFC you would adore this mate, 1st cameo is from your mate Craig Johnston :) - lots of old footage and plenty of laughs...

I give it 5/5 (I mean I would have anyway because of the subject matter, but :) )
