No way man! The best souvlaki joint used to be lambs on chapel, but that's gone downhill majorly since probably the 2010s.

Oakleigh definitely has the best cafes, souvlakis yeah idk probably not, but I'm sure they're better than the north!

Pretty terrible game overall. 1st penalty given was disgraceful, 2nd one was clear. South had a couple of chances but didnt do enough with the numerical advantage.

Not sure why Mesourouni wasnt thrown on. In terms of our personel we probably are the worst team in the league. Think Bonada needs to be risked next week...the relegation battles begin now.

Rotten luck cos i would have liked to have seen him have a go.

Hopefully Bonada returns next week, he did the warm up with the team but not in the squad, i think he needs to come into the 11 next week.

Its bizarre how we didnt even try the long throw late in the game. Probably our shortest lineup since Covid.

Felt a big opportunity was missed today, yes we are rubbish but they had 10 for most of the game, we wont get many more opportunities like that.

5 of our next 7 are at home. I think the 1st portion of the 2nd half of the year will decide our fate. Realistically though if we lose to Port and drop to bottom you'd say its done already.

Don't even know what to think about last night.... Two U23s (one on debut) did really well but we just cant get the ball to break the lines.. I mean Oakleigh parked the bus for 75 mins - understandably so for a CT coached grub team, but did they have to spend so much time rolling around on the ground... Feally was taking the piss at the end.

"No long throws EVER!!" is clearly a big fat sign posted up in the changerooms but did we have to do every single throw backwards? I cant figure out how this new Porky Blinder is trying to play? We recycled and recycled and recycled possession in front of the block for 75 mins, every time I though we should release it was a backwards pass to Jankovic??? WTF?

Anyway, never expected anything from yesterday so to even score a goal from open play was a minor miracle.. Like you say the REAL battle is the next 4 weeks.... South Melbourne fight to the end....
