A repeat of what happened last time with them won’t occur this time around. It was the Horda Bosnians who jumped the fence and did the charade nearly 10 years ago. They’re not so much around and they’ll be preoccupied with Saturday anyway. The ones running NT now are good people- victory have always been undermined by the Bosnians, skops and others who look for trouble within them. Horda were the ones who did that dumb shepparton stunt.

Id be a lot more concerned for the preston game anyways. They will outnumber us 3 to 1 - and with our bad form and bad standing in the Greek community, I doubt the Greeks show up in their numbers. Before anyways complains about me saying that, South’s rep is in the mud. It’s a massive shame but we should be promoting the hell out of that game but alas we won’t get more then 5k total for a game that we should be 100% maxing out Lakesides capacity.

They're having a cry once again this year Balmoral's (their club) opponents are not willing to reschedule the game for the grand final. Happened last year too
 
Shame Carlton didn't last, i would of been supporting them if they we're still around.

It wasnt just "horda bosnians" that jumped the fence 10 years ago, a large percentage were Greeks including the son of Manos Millios, and Jimmy trying to stop his psychotic grandson. I remember the names from the tribunal and over half a dozen were Greek if not more.
 
Watched the bergers vs st albans last night and have to say, we need to firstly be thankful the bergers managed to save the point but far more importantly, our coaching team if they didnt shouldve had an eye on this game for next weeks clash....
Dynamo pressed high and quick, and although not of bergers standard, they created some worthy chances and took them, we have shown that when it comes to high pressing game we dont have answers this season and without the ability to score easily on the counter it will be interesting to see if we again fall into the mentality of sitting back and trying to absorb the pressure (likely disastrous) or take the game to them and be vulnurable on the quick counter..
Its as much impairetive we take the points in that game as it is in the game vs victory on sunday. These 6 points start to create the buffer required from those below as well as not losing sight of those directly above us...
2 wins will also hopefully allow for a larger crowd showing vs preston in a few weeks which would be a good assesssment of the squad at full current strength by then!
Some.of those out of contract (june 30) are:
Alex Menelaou def mid victory (21)
Aoyama (perth) cen mid (26) fill asian foreigner spot. Or Danzaki right wing (WU).
Jake hollman (23) mcarthur att mid.
Macrillos cent mid (29) (macarthur)
Sotirio (29) Sydney centre forward new caledonian so fills that foreign spot also. - although a more established tall striker would be ideal.
Noah Botic (WU) forward would be a solid pick up (23) proven scorer.
Perhaps even Barabrousis could be ideal as a smaller focused centre forward off a solid season again. (Just a thought)
Sicilliano (21) victory as a second keeper bc im not conviced we arent sore thereoif we god forbid lose lopez to any injury.

Arzani on the right would be great but i dont see him being without a contract too long if not already signed.

For me the standout sore spots in my feeble mind are the following
1. Centre forward
2. Either a top notch Holding midfielder and an attacking midfielder with mells pulling back to holding role or both.
3. Right wing.
4. Back up keeper.

Thoughts?
 
If Takaki rumour of South not paying players is true.... Then how is south going to attract these A league calibre players?

Are you selling them hopes and dreams of playing for the massive powerhouse club South Melbourne Hellas?

Are you going to tell Arzani, who's about to play in the A league grand final at a packed out AAMI park, how special and meaningful and honourable it is to play for South? Maybe you'll tell him that with his help, he can save you from relagation!

It’s not true no player has left the club and if we weren’t paying players why haven’t they left

Firstly we are still to hear from the horses (jackass if you prefer) mouth who those supposed players are bc those of us in the club know nothing of this! But hey you muppets at oakleigh seem to be the all knowing!
Barring that we are also still waiting on even one of his inside scoops to actually be on point to date...

From the list you can see most are cheap young players suited to the npl rules etc, this inlcudes the foreigners but i guess when your used tot"the rules not need apply here" then why would it concern you..

As for Arzani if you actually read the post (provided you can see) it clearly states that he is out of contract june 30, and would be a coup, but isnt gonna happen bc he wont be out of contract for long from an ALeague club... laymen's terms for the mentally challenged illiterate south easterners out there!
