A win will go a long way to securing survival but a draw wouldnt be the worst result either.

We have a great record at that ground but this will be our toughest test by far.

Between this and our upcoming 3 game home stand we can put this relegation talk to bed by the end of this month.
 
Interesting evidence by takaki, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt purely because South has been known for pulling these stunts before.

Only one person had the guts to ask hard questions at Tuesdays forum and was told promptly where to go by Andrew. Disgusting response from a former director but looks like asking tough questions is offensive to this board.

Poor turnout, even more poor that aside from one individual everyone else was silent on the real issues at the club.

I cant remember ever visiting there at night though... at least not for years... Its gonna be cold tonight dress warm boys and girls.....

Interesting, did you attend? Based on your obvious hatred for all things Hellas not sure your report is of any value so Ill just ask a more trustworthy source tonight about what actually was said... Keep up the hate though, it proves we are pissing off the rest of the kourades around town....

Maikousis reign as president will be remembered as a failure and the destruction of this club. Of how he enabled Oakleigh to win 3 titles, a club that should have no relevance being talked about amongst the best sides in Victoria.

Bill Papa, a Heidelberg fan, a supporter of our rivals chairing the board of this club. A man who cares more about his own personal brand than South Melbourne, a man who has sold out the Greek community that he claims he represents. Why is his son playing in the 23s, the second highest male team we have at the club was he cut from a state one reserves side. Then again Mesourounis son has been given a third stint at the club. Even the kid himself knows his out of his depth, yet daddy promises his son a spot.

Maikousis daughter might be a good operator but she’s only at the club because of daddy. And his nephew, parachuted into the role of assistant coach having never coached juniors. Even found himself at the reigns for two matches this season, it’s like handing the keys of a Lambo to a 5 year old.

Are you also happy with Kokotis the football director. Another paid board position, another individual with zero coaching experience. How exactly has the men’s program improved since he took over, bottom half of the table …

This board treat the club as their Kafeneio and punching bag. They bring in all their family members, give them jobs. All while the club languishes and does terribly. The junior program once championed by the club now is a shell of itself, with only one side qualifying for division 1. They did something ok though today, Strati is a good appointment but his strength lies in juniors as a TD not this corporatised, ineffective role they’ve given him.

The clubs facilities are a joke. The premier Lakeside stadium, the envy of the league with a catering situation so embarrassing that state 5 and church league clubs run canteens better than us. This lot couldn’t even design the social club properly to cope with things the odd time it does get busy. Let alone juniors and the seniors occasionally train at the cow paddock that is Albert Park Field 18 and 19, with more potholes then Princess Highway.

And you lot want to laugh and mock the situation. Maybe Mike can comment on every point I put up - he himself is complicit in the destruction of South, sitting idle like an obeyant puppet dog.

You keep throwing jabs at anyone and everyone yet dont offer any alternatives mate... Either you give a shit about the club so much that you cant accept what is happening or you just HATE everyone associated with it currently.. Either way whats your answer?

BTW Oakleigh being talked about by WHO exactly? One minute you hate the "kefeneio" and the next you want the real life "kafeneio"to be praising Hellas? Who cares?
