Words and language are important. You wrote “on our books”. Those 58 or more Sydney FC players were not also on Sydney FC’s books?
You meant “were developed at”, or “came through the youth ranks”, or “were junior/academy players”?
I don’t believe all of those 52 National team players did all of their youth development at South Melbourne, but apologies in advance if all of them did.

Words and language do INDEED count Kit... No many of the players on pour list did NOT develop exclusively at South but its an arbitrary list as good as what everyone else is using as a measure and serves to prove HBW's point about us NOT being considered an Australian club and all the feeble attempts and soft xenophobia thrown around by certain posters...

I wonder how you would consider any mention of St George's Hungarian-ness in a derogatory manner?

its not personal and if i come across as whinny for being over the idea of constantly having to prove someone elses benchmarked of 'their bullshit made up notion Australianess' then so be it! Its tiresome though!

Having said that above all, I have zero expectations of others (incl yourself) and who they choose to support, its indifferent to me frankly... I have and will always support my team, my community and my heritage and that is the reqlity of it...

When accusing me of having expectations though i may remind you its you that has seeked this out in the SMFC thread not me in your thread.

I didn’t do anything derogatory (did I?), so why am I included in the collective “you”? I don’t have a Hungarian background, just grew up in the area. I do admire Les Murray and Puskas. “You” guys sure are quick with the “us”, “them”, and “they”. Styling yourselves on Kendrick Lamar’s “They not like us”? Fellas, you’re hard work. Who does Kendrick play for? .. to answer your question with a question, how do you know that any South supporter you converse with on the net is of Greek background? Sure myself and HBW un-ashamedly are but have you NOT mentioned "you" in the same way?

Stop throwing stones and I presume the bricks will stop flying back at you :)

Except there is ample posts and likes to contradict it though!...There is a wise old greek proverb that states "tell me your friends and ill tell you who your are!"

Can you explain to me the source of this exact 'US vs them' you seem so sore about? Or is it only one sided as you seem to conveniently allude to here?

Either way, no victimhood without proof here, so you have the option to continue to contribute to this SMFC thread as a non supporter with proper queries and suggestions and will always be welcome or opt out of this thread if it so suits you.
 
I'll support the club putting the kids in and essentially throwing the game on Sunday. As much as i dislike Avondale we would be idiots to even try to do Heidelberg a favour after the disrespect they've shown our club the past 3 weeks. I'll laugh if Avondale beat us with the softest penalty ever. Just to be sure we should let them belt us in case it comes down to GD.
 
Im in 2 bloody minds, absolutely hate Avondale but the bergers whinging has made it hard not to laugh at the fact their title is half in our hands half in theirs. I respect them though unlike Avondale and i really dont want to lose to anyone let alone the makaronades! Already talk at the village we will drop the game!
