The coverage on The Project posing 'Do we need some kind of morality clause for leaders in Australian sport?'. There are plenty examples of people getting sacked for doing the wrong thing.

The same media types defending Kerr or brushing it all off as a small mishap, are the ones who'd dox and drag anyone else through the mud for something so minuscule under their zero tolerance guise.

They're only defending Kerr because the like her and her stance is one that identifies with all their identity politics. It's just so hypocritical.
 
I don't think Kerr needs to be destroyed by this but perhaps some common sense of appropriate punishment and management of the situation then move on. Then again, the list of names of professional athletes who've done nothing wrong towers over the other. Mistakes are made by try your best not to.

Haven't watched The Project for years, sounds like I'm not missing much.
 
How it got that far was pretty mindblowing. Only got charged because a cop was seeking fame and a promotion.

I have many a time in my 20s, and Im sure a pretty big chunk of people on here have too....

Once got into the back seat of a cop car (was totally blotto and saw the checkered pattern on the side strip of the patrol car and thought ... ah taxi) and told the jack up front to take me home farken and to hurry because im gonna chuck up everywhere.... he told me to get farked, I told him to get farked, he had to get out of the drivers side and come and open the back door for for me because I had locked myself in and then we both went our separate ways....

Kerr is a privileged, angry little moron nothing more nothing less.... She'll (or more likely Chelsea) get stung with a hefty court costs and mark against her reputation.... stupid actions, not criminal.... lets all move on....

I don't have any "identity politics"; I liked Kerr because she was a good player. Beyond that I'm not really surprised at anything she might do. This would have to go down as one of the most ridiculous trials in legal history- five days for name calling and hurt feelings. Most of the people hating her on social media seem to be soccer haters, womens sport haters and gay haters, using the other issues as an excuse to post.
What her future as a player will be has still to be determined
