I've heard rumours about camps but nothing concrete. What blows my mind a bit is how a lot of people are putting the boot in saying she's had it coming, she's arrogant, up herself, deserves it.

I don't get it. I've never seen her interviewed when she's ever been anything but professional and positive. If she'd been a right dickhead for years like Anthony Mundine or some other loud mouthed flog I'd say fair enough.

I feel like a lot of blokes are using the fact that they don't like the attention and success of the Matildas in Australia, particularly recently, as an opportunity, and an outlet, to slag her off.

You only have to look online when they lose a match. 'Overrated, build them another statue, what have they ever wone, show ponies, spoilt' etc etc.

Blokes are unhinged.

Oh yeah and people saying Kerr never deserved to be captain is also wild.

She's hands down, man or woman, the best footballer we've ever produced.





And, by the looks of it, she's going to come out of this very tarnished. Probably, deservedly so.

well Muz I'm no SM user but not surprised people/or men as you say going after her.
So you reckon its a bit of payback for % of males and Matildas fandom - maybe they suffer mental health haha
I've read there is alot of females putting in her as well.
I agree like bloody Mundine what a flog he deserves anything for the donkey puts his neck out making such stupid statements.
Note silly statements, thats all she's guilty of from my perspective but today thats not acceptable like it once was hence the chopping block.

Cmon mate, you've reffed long enough (I assume) to know the best player on the field isnt the true leader or the best captain.

Where there is smoke 9/10 there is fire.... I hope, by now, you would understand that I am not coming at this as a gender thing?
I may not be the biggest fan of the Matilda's or watch all the matches like some others but I want nothing but success and am happy for my daughter to have such wonderful sportswomen as Raso, Catley, and Carpenter to look up to.

I don't know 100% if Kerr was a sexual predator or just an abusive shit person but she does come across as sulky and petty in the media and I dont think anyone was surprised that something like this would occur to her....

Yes, some massive and quite hysterical attacks on Sam Kerr on Twitter/X- mostly from people who hate women, hate gays and hate soccer. Most of them have probably never seen a game of soccer. Some say she is hopeless player; most believe that she is an aborigine. Average IQ on Twitter seems to be getting lower than ever.

Anyone who dissed Sammy K here a few months back would have been slapped with the ban stick.

Now they are queuing up.
 
While she should have just paid for the damage immediately, pled guilty, apologised and avoided the whole circus, and although I’m already tired of seeing articles about the whole sad affair, Australian football needs all the coverage it can get in the mainstream media so maybe that’s a positive. And maybe now Sam Kerr and the Matildas have really made the big time with the team’s star player having too much to drink and behaving badly like one of those NRL or AFL guys. Prior to the incident there were quite a few people saying the Matildas didn’t have anyone behaving badly. Maybe this could be Sam’s new bad girl image?

Sorry, I get what you said now.
People just seem to want to hate her, a lot of it is just anti soccer. Many claim to not know what team she plays for, etc
Also it seems she identifies as black; which is ridiculous, because she only seems to be a light shade of gray.
People are going to hate her regardless.
