I'm gobsmacked!

In Cricket Tas Members at tonight's One Day game, a few said that an Indian umpire reported him, after officiating in Galle. All Sri Lankans were happy with Kuhnemann's action. It would be convenient if Aus's best bowler in the subcontinent was rubbed out.

I can't believe Matt k getting questioned, whilst Bumrahs action is deemed legal? However, many members believe Bumrah's action is legal. I'm not saying Matt K's is perfect, but that Bumrah bends his arm decidedly more.

I've seen some punishing innings from him in the Shield.
 
Tas beat Victoria in the day/Night One Day game at Bellerive tonight.

Caleb Jewell, one of Tas's favourite sons, reversed his appalling red ball form, with a ton tonight. He hit some huge sixes. He played plenty of decent cricket shots too.

Charlie Wakim, played a nice 44 runs off 37 balls as well.

I thought Boland was bowling superbly, but earlier in the innings apparently he was smacked around before I arrived at the ground.

Blues need more solidity in their middle order. Davies, Gilkes on thin ice. Maddinson too. Lachlan Shaw deserves a debut and bring back Ryan Hackney to open with Sam Konstas.

Tas lost to South Aus, on the last ball of the Shield match in the second last home game at Bellerive, Baggers.

It has cost Tas a lot of points.

You will find that Mitch Owen brutally savaged him. Need to get Mitch into our white ball setup pronto.

Punishing and mature. He is far more patient these days which is lifting his all round game. In four of his five shield games he has had to rescue the Blues from embarrassment. He also has the same ability of batting with the tail as Tim Paine had.

Guys I have to say that from the clip I saw, K did align his arm before release. A clear bending of the elbow. He must be shattered as prob thinking this has taken the gloss from a rare Lankan series win. Former Saffer tweaker and Aussie spin coach Johan Botha, also called for chucking, says K is in for a tuff ride now.

Plenty having a whinge about the omission of our Test pacemen from the CT. Not in least bothered if Ellis, Johnson, Bartlett are their replacements. And with Hardie as Stoinis' successor plus CA pin up boy Connolly and with hopefully Sam Konstas, Mitch Owen, Josh Philippe, Harry Dixon added too, then things are shaping for a fine white ball future.

I've read a lot about it in the last few days. The SL bowling coach explained to his players that it was legal. A number of Aussies, Steve Smith and Steve O'Keefe, claim he will have no trouble being cleared, but that the stigma will effect him for years.

What I can't get over, is that Bumrah's action is far more controversial. I have a photo where he bends his arm by some margin in his delivery. I don't know how to post it here, but I can send it to Grazor to post.
 
Tassies last match against the SAussies was one for the ages, as the match went into the last half an hour of day four, with the Croweaters rolling the Apple Islanders a mere two runs short of their 429-run target, off the back of Tim Wards big century. Tassie will be out for sweet vengeance after losing in that thriller.

Gee, some wickets fell yesterday, Richie.

I'm about to go to the Women's One Day match at Bellerive. Didn't see any footage of yesterday's game, but mates of ours did.
