Sign Up Now!Fact of the matter is that Sydney FC didn't look convincing in either leg.The game was played in 30 degree heat with 80-90% humidity which is difficult even for professionals. Agree that Sydney didn’t play that well. But the game sure was entertaining.
You made up your mind ten mins before you turned it on. You hate the a league your views are biasedSo I watched a bit of this match last night for a laugh. Oh my the standard of football in this country is so fucken dire. I can't imagine why anyone would want to pay to watch these teams unless its just an excuse to sing songs with your school mates. Is that still allowed in the Z-league?
Playing at walking pace..passing it around at the back and dwelling on the ball... inability to put in a cross without shanking it out of play more often than not... its schoolboy level. The game is probably in the worst state of health its ever been here.
Don't tell me what I know. My views were purely based on observation and perspective. You made up your mind ten mins before you turned it on. You hate the a league your views are biased
You must know more than us playing in humidity in Thailand…So I watched a bit of this match last night for a laugh. Oh my the standard of football in this country is so fucken dire. I think the thing is SFC still won the game and are through to the next round of matches against the Korean club. Its good for the A-League that SFC has gone this far and are actually taking the comp seriously unlike prev times.Don't tell me what I know. My views were purely based on observation and perspective.
2nd tier Asian football is dire too. Players still simulating injuries and rolling around the grass wasting time while referees allow it all to happen. Tin pot confederation.I think the thing is SFC still won the game and are through to the next round of matches against the Korean club. He is right though, you are just a hater of Australian football, and a rank rotten troll.Don't tell me what I know. My views were purely based on observation and perspective.
We did make it to the R16 at the last world cup with a bunch of A-league players so things are not to bad. And Korea and Japan dont have a capt league unlike us. They have better TV deals so the clubs can spend more money were as the ALM clubs might as well be on the dole with the crud funds coming there way. Also look at the kids playing in the A-League now, some are very good and will go on to bigger and better things.2nd tier Asian football is dire too. Only Japan and Korea play any football and the proof is in the relative success of their players in big leagues.
Australia is so far off its a joke. This is supposedly one of its biggest clubs.
Spending more money wouldn't change the fact there's a complete lack of talent coming through. We did make it to the R16 at the last world cup with a bunch of A-league players so things are not to bad. Parked the bus at the world cup and got lucky to jag a couple of narrow wins against underwhelming opposition. This wasn't a victory for A-league football. A few members of this squad were named in the unofficial worst 11 of the tournament. It was a victory for getting 11 behind the ball when you have nothing else to your game. At least Arnold wasn't naïve enough to think they could actually play football. Oh and their best player was a Scotsman who'd never even set foot in Australia before he became a Socceroo. We did make it to the R16 at the last world cup with a bunch of A-league players so things are not to bad. I see Roma and Porto both took inspiration from our style of play this morning.passing it around at the back and dwelling on the ball

Sydney FC haven't looked convincing since about Round 1 of the A League. Either way a win is a win if you're progressing in something. I believe they're playing a Korean team next.Fact of the matter is that Sydney FC didn't look convincing in either leg.
