The Ange at Tottenham Thread

that's what they've doing since he went to England

it gets more clicks from Aussie readers to hype up Aussies abroad

I've not heard one critical assessment from an Aussie media pundit since he took reigns of Spurs

It would be super entitled for Australian Football Media to dunk on the only Australian manager to ever manage in the Premier League.

Who’s going to carry that torch? Bozza? Bulldog Slater? FML 🤦‍♂️

so they should lie just to help Ange's career? One big mate's club the Aussie media is.

that's what's got us here...all the lying which enabled Ange to get ahead of his skis and dropped into a situation where he's found himself out of his depth

Who has benefitted other than Ange's bank balance? It hasn't benefitted Aussie football's reputation abroad, if anything its harmed it.

Have you lived under a rock all this time?

Foz almost single handedly destroyed Ange's career. He was unemployable after that interview on SBS.

The media literally chased Ange out of the National Team job when he was struggling to qualify us for the World Cup.

Yes Ange's bank balance has benefited the most out of his Spurs tenure. So what? Australian football isn't some Socialist experiment. Football is hyper capitalist, get used to it to save yourself from constant disappointment.

"unemployable" what a load of horse shit

he walked straight into a job at Foxsports then a year later Brisbane Roar

He’s been on the plank for a while MCG.
Levy may wait to pull the trigger whilst they are not that close of the relo battle even if they loose tomorrow.
Don’t think he’s lost the change room to the point of being untenable like it was with Conte for eg let alone saying things wrong in the presser’s.
I could be totally wrong and he’s dumped after this loss if it is lol

I think it's best for everyone that it ends straight away if they cant get past Alkmaar. At least last year and early this season they were fun to watch even if they lost. Now it's nearly unwatchable. They don't bring any energy to press and they create SFA going forward, whilst their own defence cops a huge press as they have no idea how to play through it anymore. They gift the opposition several 1 on 1s early in the game and that seems just normal now, so no one makes a big deal of it. If Vicario never came back they would have conceded some massive scores recently.

Had hoped when they got players back that they might improve sharply and a couple of wins will bring confidence. But it hasn't, a win tomorrow buys a bit more time, but Ive lost all hope they turn it around now, seems the players have as well.

Yep both those changes - keep the momentum going not that long to go.
Not bad scoring a double for his first goals
