What's the homophobic slur? They booed Cavallo when he was diving years ago. Has there actually been any evidence or description?

Also, there are plenty of people who were on the pitch on that day that still go to games.

Even the instigator of the trouble - Glover still gets to go to games. And plays about the same amount now as the fans

THANK YOU!

Cavallo made this whole fucking circus about himself. Not one slur happened that game. Even tried to use his card to be the first gay in the NT. Nice try mate but you're shit.

I'm not a Melb Vic supporter, but watch Vic a lot because of the quality young players and technicians like Arzani, Piscopo, Villupillay, Valadon, Teague, Bos. Machach is a good import too. Also, the recently departed Vic RB Geria is starring in the Socceroos.

Given how well Vic often plays building up from back to the front, and given Geria, Villupillay, Arzani, now Teague, have performed so well for the Socceroos in international football, namely very high pressure WCQs, are Melb Vic underachieving in the AL?

Nope. Other teams have quality imports and they get to see each other play every week. Hence they know how to nullify each player. It also comes down to the coach who is very average.

Huge game v Auckland on Saturday. 1st leg at home. We're in some form but Auckland the benchmark this season. Wild to think 3 Melbourne teams in the final 4 and noone else in Australia.

massive game you reckon victory can beat auckland ?

Absolutely. Auckland are solid, but they definitely dropped a bit of form at the tail end of the season. Picked up a lot of draws. The week off is also a bit of a double edged sword. MV won within 90mins so will recover well and will be full of confidence.
That being said, unlike the MC/WU semi, both MV and Auckland will have home game advantages in their respective home games. I reckon if it's a draw or Auckland are ahead in the first leg then they will go on to win it. If MV are ahead after the first leg they will go on to win it.
Shootout scenario is a flip of a coin. Both clubs have excellent keepers.

Is it just me or is Vergos the weakest link in that attacking quartet? And Fornaroli probably well past his best.

Victory have depth in quality wingers and wish Velupillay could be sacrificed at time and spend some time upfront

Santos--Machach--Arzani
------------Velupillay

Would possibly provide speed on the counter, greater fluidity/mobility and overloads.

Are we going with a back 3 or playing Santos at LB? No Bos or Traore.

Fornaroli with the nod over Vergos.

I feel like Diles has turned this club around on the pitch from a soulless husk to a hungry and genuinely connected group, in just six months. And he's tactically out-coached a fair few.

Will Nish be fit to play?

I assume they flew home yesterday and he will go for a scan today.
