I wouldn't bother with Nish. He'll be at 50% rat power and that's not enough for the GF. The first change of direction and he's gone again. Huge loss, but we need fit and firing players.

If he's fit to play, he's fit to play. I would play an 80% fit Nish off the bench over Jing Reec

Melbourne Victory's Brendan Hamill tore his ACL two weeks before the A-League Men grand final but a special gesture from his teammates underlines their quality.

Although surprised Brendan Hamill had his son’s birthday party at the same time as the away semi final.
 
Fabian Monge, Alex Menelaou and Christian Siciliano have now departed the club.

The following players are also now off contract:
  • Adama Traoré
  • Bruno Fornaroli
  • Roderick Miranda
  • Jack Duncan (GK)
  • Daniel Arzani
  • Clarismario
  • Alex Badolato
  • Luka Kolic
  • Daniel Graskoski (GK)
With the new salary cap rules, I'd say some of those will alsodefinitely be going.
Badolato is on loan, so WSW may not wish to extend the loan.
Unfortunately, I'd assume Duncan would have to be going. Would be hard to justify both Langerak and Duncan. Great opportunity for another A-League club to pick-up an excellent in form keeper.
I reckon Arzani will take an overseas opportunity. Off-contract so he can be picked up on a free transfer.
Not sure how much room there is for Bruno. I reckon he still has something to offer, but we really need a more effective striker.
I reckon Miranda will stay for at least another season, but I also wouldn't be surprised if his contract is not renewed.
Traoré is at that age (35), where it becomes a bit of a tough call. He didn't appear much this season, so I reckon he might be on his way out.

Yeah big changes afoot. Apparently Duncan has triggered and extension. Traoré might've stayed on if the veterans rule wasn't getting canned.

Fornaroli is supposed to be leaving.

Arzani is looking to Europe. You'd think Teague and Vellupillay may have interest too.

Duncan amd Miranda I think will stay.

Traore is probably gone, age, salary and out of favour.

I really hope we try to keep Badolato.

Clarismario I'm indifferent about.

The others unsure.

We really need a number 9 and some more depth in CM. Maybe a RB.

I'd love Yengi but its not realistic. D'Agostino may be an option.
 
Hope Patrick Wall proves to be of some value to the first team next season, looks to have a bit about him.
 
We just signed Louis D'Arrigo. I think a shrewd signing. He's probably replacing Teague but I hope Teague stays and we're strengthening the line/our depth.

Often been the youth teams main outlet when up against it in the NPL.... is a left footed winger who seems just as happy to go on the outside if on the right wing. Good size, pretty strong on the ball, runs channels and drops into pockets of space with intelligence.
Not overly tricky but a good user of the ball.
Probably needs to build a better tank and work on defensive qualities to make it pro.
 
We just picked up Jelacic from Gent. I wonder if that's a clue where Teagues headed.
 
I think we're seeing a new recruitment strategy here.

Similar to Teague, we're picking up young returning Aussies to get their careers back on track.

We're also promoting our youth products more. Lino and Bos were transfers. Velupillay rumoured to have overseas interest.

We're definitely busier selling players than we were. Teagues also rumoured to be leaving.

It's a pivot away from almost exclusively mature players and I like it.
 
Apparently Newcastle after Badolato. I hope we can sign or loan him again.
