The Orange Army. (Brisbane Roar Official Thread)

Went to the game at Lismore, Roar versus Jets. First look at either side. Brisbane played to an impressive structure, and the press was unrelenting - they look very fit, well organised, and were all over the Jets till the changes started ringing.

If the 11 that started for the Jets is anything like their first 11 for this coming season, they are in deep trouble. Some of the players looked like they belonged in NPL2. An alarming lack of quality across the park.

Bouzanis is a worry, though. How a full-time professional keeper can have distribution as poor as his defies logic. Keepers now MUST be able to distribute. Bouzanis makes Jamie Young look like Beckenbauer. He needs to pick up his game, literally.

Bouzanis hit his limit decades ago.

Bouzanis distribution used to be ok when he was a young socceroo

Might be an issue of playing in lower english leagues before they started changing to more deck football the last few years

Make sure you are wearing your G and G merch when doing burpies and sprints... lol

Totally undecided since I know nothing about him but with heavy reservations.

Played a couple of friendlies with the Aus U19 squad in 2024 but nothing higher that I can see and no actual competitive internationals. Played for his B side in Greece but not the seniors.

Centreback - which is not a position we seem to have a shortage of players in.

I am very skeptical because it just looks and smells like nepotism rather than need.
