What football podcasts/shows do you usually watch?

Only started listening to this episode, but I reckon this will get some coverage. I'd almost call this former cop a whistle blower. Great interview so far:

so looks like Preston have won the 2025 NPL before even kicking a ball????? The fan boys seemed a little over the top in their support of the galacticos.

Josh Parish will always talk up Preston and to be fair they have made a whole host of signings but thats nothing new they did that the first season in NPL2 and had too many players ending up with no cohesion at all and flopped. Signing loads of players doesnt make you a good team in my book but we will see, expectations would be top 6 at least but I have a feeling they want to build towards the NST comp and hope to get cohesion and results towards the latter half of the season in order to win the big one.

I know, was just having a little dig :P conistency and structure wins this league NOT marquee signings..... :)

One thing the guys on the pod got spot on is htf is Lou going to be able to manage THAT roster.. there are only so many strikers and AM you can field in any one starting 11... lol There are gonna be some glum looking faces sitting on teh bench this year I reackon

Seen this time and time again happens at a quite a few clubs they sign loads of forwards but what happens is starting 11 get 60mins if nothing happens then the bench forwards come on under pressure to produce again if nothing happens the coach starts switching players around to find a cohesive solution by then half the season has gone and results have gone against them. It can cause more issues than you think, then players get despondent having to sit on the bench or produce under pressure. In my opinion teams with a steady front 3 or 4 players will produce more than a team with an array of forwards constantly switching around but thats me, Im sure Lou knows more than I do :unsure:
 
Agree. I dont have anyone "inside the tent" at Preston but I would imagine a big part of these moves is the fact that they are back in the top flight after so long, have NST coming up and a massive amount of new cashed up sponsors with demands on where their money is gonna be spent.... Good luck to them trying to buy the league but I dont think its as easy as all that.

Man there is such a hole for pods on Sunday nights-Monday mornings. Absolutely nothing there. Dying for a weekend review show, A-League and local.
 
Just did my annual re-watch of Ted Lasso again. Really hope they stump for a Season 4.

As for Youtube, I've actually just made myself a YouTube account (which I'll eventually upload FIFA/FM crap to) thats subbed to all the football channels (and a few select FIFA/FM channels).

I think that show got worse after a brilliant season 1
