World Cup Qualification Thread for 2026 - Socceroos/Asia

Changed to another VPN and had same issue with Paramount. Played a video of a series (recorded) worked fine. Then opened game stream again and it worked. Whether playing another video type tricked the system or it just needs a refresh is beyond me.

Didn't realise Saudi had 2 players at Beershot. Roma RB, Saud is very fast. Al Hilal CB pairing but they appear on the weaker side.

Beershot players being featured now only being called back into squad. Mancini very odd there. HE rejuvenated a lot but it just wasn't clicking. This will be an experienced Saudi team.

Al Brikan up top is very dangerous and for me, the best Saudi player, even more than Al Dawasari. As we'll play higher up, he can turn into space and he can lace them. Got to score early and eat their spirits.

seems like he wants duke for the press I guess bring Yengi on later when we can create more?

Other than Goodwin with final product delivery & scoring ability Im not confident in anyone in that line up.

Yes and Renard can probably read it like a book.

Last time it was Boyle, Leckie and Mabil. Dynamic but Leckie as centre forward couldn't finish. We were too complacent with our chances. Need an earlier goal tonight to probably require Renard to then change his plan.

We'll get to see Bos and McGree link up for the first time in space since they both injured themselves against Lebanon. This is a game where Bos and Miller are hopefully suffocating them. If Miller runs off the ball into the box, his size and strength can hopefully unsettle them that they may foul him. Good luck to him.

Saudi back 4 probably around Burgess numbers for minutes clubwise.

If Irvine can play like he does for St Pauli we should be fine. Get those runs forward and get into the areas where he can put a ball in.

Opening kicks hardly matter but Burgess scuffs and O'Neill chests to no one but he does win it back. Suddenly feel a lot more nervous.

Such attempts by Miller to best the man when it's 1 on 3 are very dangerous there.

Nice pressing by Duke and Hrustic so far. Nudge on ball past Souttar but then Miller one step behind. Good Geria coverage.

Fact where seemingly building a team around Miller is frustrating.

Issue in transition is Miller isn't sprinting right forward and has back to goal so O'Neill can't release. Quick play to Velupillay and Strain would be better.

Fuck Miller off. Should go to wrestling or MMA. Free ball to run onto and pass and he still somehow loses the duel.
