If you listen to what poppa's been saying, he will want to use standout a league players when playing in our timezone. Conditioning is very important to him and he rates the a league

That is fair. But who is more likely to make the plane to North America in 26...Caceres and Brattan?? Or Teague and Balard for example??

Also do any other nations employ this tactic of picking home grown players to avoid some potential tired legs? I understand we have immense travel and I do get the thinking behind if that is what it is, I just don't buy it.

Good question. Hopefully lack of cohesian in 2026 doesnt hurt us
 
So far at least randoms to the squad have contributed well. Velupillay with a goal. Brattan really shouldn't have been there but I was expecting worse. Yazbek got more exposure and was good on the ball.

Should Caceres get some minutes then he's got to deliver. I just dear these types will hinder the introduction of the better midfielders. Maybe Popovic just isn't interested in them.

yeah and squad rotation is not just good for condition, but can be good to keep players at top clubs on their toes

In the press conference Popovic said that Robertson actually made himself unavailable and there was nothing to do with paper work.... leaves a bad taste in what he said in the last one, why were they talking about it being a paper work issue?
