First time I have had a positive feeling about the NST for a while.... THE "elite APL" are worried about losing sponsors to amateur state league clubs AND want FA to pay for the Womens league and Youth league because they are flat broke??? Hahaha GTFOH swine.....

Technically all A-League clubs (except Auckland) trademarks are still owned by Football Australia. No idea why that is the case, but it is for some reason.

a few franchises certainly do seem to be on their knees.. Does anyone have any incite on if they can survive a whole season without any income??? South had been around 45 odd years before the demise of the NSL and one season without any competition damn near destroyed us financially.
FA is surprisingly silent on whats going on with both comps though.... who knows what the future brings?

I don’t think James Johnson (and by extension FA) is particularly concerned by the problems in the A Leagues but he is determined to run football as it should be run, the NST is just the start.
This will take time as the professional side of the game is badly broken.

It certainly seems that way... I still agree with some though that FA would want to "keep alive" the only professional top tier league we have at the moment.. Whether that means folding it and incorporating the surviving franchises into the NST or something else, time will tell I suppose.
