Dependent on his hunger and physical capabilities to be fair.. yes as far as a statement goes it would be a big buzz and an ideal lead in to AU champsionship if he came on the cheap that is... otherwise i think there are better younger players out there that would serve us better!

This is all well and good if you have huge pulling power and are a club where everyone wants to play, if your not you pay!

The people coming to lakeside to watch Fornaroli would be buying one souvlaki beween all 3 of them mate.... dont need this sort of stunt.

When it comes to ambition i swear we come across like Spurs lol.

Club needs to decide whether its genuinely big or not. We do a lot of barking but fail to deliver.

Delivering is getting a player from overseas or the best promising youngster in Australia though... NOT being a retirement home for tired Aleague players with nowhere else to go... We've been there and done that.... they come, they play 4 matches, cost and arm and a leg and sit in the stands with their trophy wife wearing a South tracksuit just so they can get paid for the rest of the season... its a hard pass from me..

15 mins from memory was all he played in the famous Green as well... seeing a pattern here and what lays ahead...

Hahahah nah he played a few cup games but just rubbish from all reports..... Has done well in the Aleague but its a luxury player we don't need in my opinion...

Massive three games coming up in a row with 9 points that could make or break our season.. starting with Sudnay.

Well we need a win now. Dinamo wont go down they keep scoring in injury time.

Maybe Altona is the team we can finish above. Its going to be close.

Should get the six points in our next two games easily especially since both games are at home and both Dandenong Thunder and Hume City, the teams we face in our next two, are coming off the back of losses in their last games.

Cant see where our goals are coming from on Sunday. Pretty thin in attack with the players out, and we dont keep clean sheets anymore so likely need 2 goals to win.

Irrespective of what others are doing, we must win on Sunday afternoon.

With Mikkola and Bonada out, you’d need to play Skapoulas and Pope upfront. More than likely Brennan will start upfront, so we’ll need to make sure we score in the first half. Brennan will fade in the second half. Unless we can score a goal from a set piece and then put in a great defensive performance.

Those midseason signings cannot come soon enough.

I think getting a result against Hume is possible given Mikkola and Bonada will be back, and we’ll be starting our midseason transfers.

It’s the Dandenong Thunder match that will be tough.
