Cmon we only had to involve flags of all the rest of the balkans to find a reason for tension.. A serb flag here, a north macedonian one there a turkish chant for good measure also, and it became join the dots..Except to the anglos it brought on fears of a barbarian invasion!Impossible, Havent you heard of the thousands of years of war between Greeks and Croats and how that trickled down into pitched battles in the NSL, so much blood.......
And they don’t like good food when it’s in front of their faces nor pronounce it therefore they’ll say fush n chups with bbq rusty tasting sauce.Cmon we only had to involve flags of all the rest of the balkans to find a reason for tension.. A good video highlighting the challenges that both leagues will face in the next decade when the shine eventually goes away.
No, its an interesting (if very sad) topic... This dumbing down of the game to sell to consumers who value celebrity over sport is only going to grow.... There is too much money involved.... The only good news is that this sort of crap doesnt last very long until the next shiny thing comes along... Are the Aleague franchises still doing their e sports computer game league for example?just the front page of the link tells not to bother.
Nope, from memory. There was one season where the dude we hired got all the way to the world finals of something and made an insane amount of bank. Are the Aleague franchises still doing their e sports computer game league for example?
social media have created the stupid generation.Yeah I watched this over the weekend... what a sad silly generation ...

@TheSelectFew if that helps you out?Quoting to watch later.
Its scary (at least to me) to read you crystallise the way things are... Imagine a world without proper sport? It's a bit of a fascinating situation at the moment. Historically, the new generation has pretty much followed in the footsteps of the previous generation when it comes to watching sports. There has always been a new batch of young people filling the seats as the previous ones grow older. However this time around they haven't been doing so in the same numbers. It's likely a direct result of mobile devices and social media prioritising short-form content over long-form content. Apparently, statistically, Gen-Z don't even watch movies anymore. They definitely don't go to the cinema, and if they do watch a movie on a streaming service they are less likely to watch start-to-finish and will likely be looking at other stuff on their phones at the same time. I'm not passing judgement, to each their own. However, it is a challenge sports will be facing, with no easy solution.
Thats the mono i love. Yes thank you very much.@TheSelectFew if that helps you out?
Dont be so tightly wound mate... we are all just strangers grappling around in the dark, looking for the next soft bit to squeeze.... hahahahahhaha (* this is said in jest &$%#)Thats the mono i love. Yes thank you very much.
I dunno. This sounded fun.Dont be so tightly wound mate... we are all just strangers grappling around in the dark, looking for the next soft bit to squeeze.... hahahahahhaha (* this is said in jest &$%#)
It is. But people use them interchangeably. Like what AFL does.Is the UFC not a mixed martial arts org? wtff
yeah but its not just that .... if attention spans are getting shorted, kids arnt even watching full 90s mins of FREE broadcast football...Ok. So a couple of false equivalences were made in that video. UFC is NOT MMA. The whole narrative is bullshit and I hate it.
Football has only itself to blame. You can't expect people to fork out such a ridiculous amount of money for a few games on the weekend and some during the week. It's unsustainable.
This is a much needed wake up call.
