100%.. As you say football is only a live or die passion for us hardy few :) The general public will either be intrigued by having a local club in a national comp they can support or they wont bother... time will tell.

The aim of the license being bought here was to ensure capital which the clubs would use as an exposure potential opportunity to build on?

Im not so sure about that.... If so, they have certainly pissed a massive chunk of money up against the wall these past 20 years????

Yep lol

Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory are the only clubs who have recorded a profit that I know of. Sydney FC only 3 out of 20 years.

Who knows, we might get so big, open the pyramid and all of sudden all our matches are played in Saudi and USA, we will be truely fuck the community then lol.

Some info I spotted elsewhere. Interesting they're going for 20 passengers to travel instead of 23, that'll reduce costs. Clubs are looking at $30-40k per week running costs for this comp.

The estimated cost for the NPL Premiers so far will be $250k. This is outside of Football Australia covering costs of 20 players and coaches for travel and accommodation (1 night only). Similar to the Australia Cup.

Those costs associated were determined at the last meeting of NSD clubs for match officials, security (huge number), hosting fees, affiliation fees and requirements from Football Australia. Doesn’t include player wages, that would be on top for any clubs playing.

There is currently no sponsor or TV deal for this tournament.

That coward Rugari has restricted his Twitter to be only available to people following him. So, as much as I enjoy reading the BS from that muppet, the thought of hitting the follow button just doesn't sit well with me.

I was told that Rugari's only mention was re-posting the Neos Kosmos article about the dickhead that complained to State Gov about Preston registering the Makedonia name .. but he quickly took it down when he realised it was a non-issue... Im not on any of these SM apps so just go by what a quick google search can reveal...

Ah yeah the class neos cannons

Another non story like the time we apparently were flying in people from Sydney to attack oakleigh etc.

Oakleigh have 5 injuries > game is pushed until after transfer window due to "securityconcerns" > oakleigh sign injury replacements

Interesting the only post during the week of the NSD announcement was one to shed some poor light

Coz da effnikz r fighting again
