Football books

I might add that Mr C was voted as one of Australia's favourite football books by SBS World Game readers a few years back. That was nice.

Mate, you don't have to plug Mr C the football book. I'll do it for you. I'm reading it and I'm at the 155 page mark. I'm loving it! I'm a huge fan of it and your writing. I've posted about the fiction aspects of the book in the general Book Reading thread.

I'll post about the football aspects here. I'm not using your real name though, as doxing is rife.

Pasquali is happy for authors to conduct Q and A sessions on here, whereas on book reading threads on another forum, it is against the rules. I take my hat off to you, Mr C. You are a very talented author. I recommend all avid bookreaders on G and G FC read Mr Cleansheets.

After thinking the tenets for writing it were strange, Mr C fits together beautifully. The genre I consider comedic, romance, and of course there is a football element. The latter I'll address in this football book section. I don't want Mr C to end ATM, it is so entertaining!

Well done Mr C
LFC, you have to read it.

I've read renowned comedic authors Marian Keyes, Graham Simsion and Kathy Lette, and Mr C is right up there with them. Plus there is the football element.

Recently I've read globally/Aus renowned authors Robert Galbraith/JK Rowling, Michael Connelly, Harlen Coben, Ian Rankin, Linda le Plante, Chris Hammer, Dervla McTiernan in the crime genre; Bernard Cornwell, Diane Gabaldon, Philippa Gregory in the historical fiction genre; and Marian Keyes, Graham Simsion, Kathy Lette writing in the comedic genre. Mr C loses nothing in comparison.

We have a veritable celebrity in our midst on G and G FC!

What can I say Decentric? I'm humbled by your review.

All I can say is that if you're only up to p 155 the best part of the book is still stretching out in front of you.

Keep telling everyone though. Vulgar Press were only small with bugger all marketing clout so despite finding a niche audience, Mr C is still fairly obscure. My most popular novel is about a very naughty lawyer - Straight Jacket.

Nice to have a good author on here, Mr C.

Authors provide great pleasure for many other people who like to read. Or don't have the diligence, commitment or talent to write books themselves for others to read.

For mine, you should have derived enough income to be a full time writer and wealthy enough like JK, Lee Child, John Grisham, Bernard C or Diane G.

I'll plug your book on another reading forum and on my home FB page when the meta ban stops next Monday.

ATM authors, Exercise Physiologists, craft brewers and craft breweries, chefs/cook book authors, progressive political organisers, plus musicians, all enhance my quality of life!
