2025 Australia Cup

heard about 70-75% of FV clubs have been involved in Australia Cup preliminaries in Victoria sent feedback to FV requesting no ties to be played over Labour Day long weekend to its competitions team and they have got their way hence why this year that first three rounds here in Victoria is now scheduled one week later than past years.

As a result there will be no ties scheduled over Labour Day long weekend in Victoria at all for the very first time since inception of FFA Cup/Australia Cup in 2014 (which would be round 3 in past years) that's being played the weekend after.

Sign up! Especially if you are a regional club. Don't worry about a first eleven, just chuck in juniors or ressies until you have sorted everything out.

WA is far too early considering the start date, same with Queensland. No wonder regional teams pull out.

I got excited for a second that this club actually played on the Whitsunday islands which would make it one hell of an away trip. Alas no it's only on the mainland at Airlie Beach.

Yeah, I don't think I came across any clubs on the islands.

Can't remember which part of QLD it was (I think somewhere around Gold Coast, might be QPL4 in that area), where there are two clubs that are like.. 1km apart as the crow flies, but due to road travel and geography, an away trip is like 30km.
