A-league attendances 24/25

As for grounds yep those who are locked in to those over sized stands used by the other codes surface will be effected to a degree and fixture dates.
The surface is effected either way. Play in Winter and it could be a little rough from the Rugby at some venues (not all). Play in the Summer and we get hard pitches with the top surface drenched just before a game. Which there seems to be a correlation between the Summer pitches and soft tissue injuries in the A-League. Neither is good, but all things considered I reckon overall Winter is the least worst option. In Winter games can be scheduled any time of the day, whereas Summer we are limited to late afternoon and evening.

My brother I would watch soccer even if my team loses every match. Me and others on this forum and the millions and Millions on Twitter reddit what the game to be how it was in the early 2010s.

We might not get there but I'm just enjoying watching the games
Maybe the millions and millions on twitter and reddit may wanna start attending games again ... like 2010 apparently???

Aren't some Aleague games played at 3pm?

Mono it would be good if people attended and we had p and r. You know we basically want the same things
Mate, your own "statistics" show that this is an impossibility People will/have NEVER attended... Aleague got a little bump in crowds more than a decade ago but thats pretty much it.

Football will ALWAYS be a well regarded and well followed sport in this country (like it is all over the world) we are sports mad overall.... Wanting it to achieve "popularity" at local level is a pipe dream and decades in the future if ever... The millions of football followers are watching EPL and Messi/Ronaldo highlights and tune in every 4 years for the WC... thats it..... They aint going to NPL, or Aleague or state leagues ... they are "consuming" highligts and following player's tiktok accounts.....

Follow your club like a madman, I applaud you. but dont expect to have thousands of thousands of people around you ... just do it because you can't live without it.....

Community shield on Friday, 1st round the weekend after....... should see me sorted well into December now.

Aleague is the one with the 8 month off season, how much football do you get along to outside of Aleague?
It is 5 months. Rugby league fills the gap. I only watch three leagues, worldwide. No interest in any other.

You would not get both games at the same stadium on the same day.

Easts and the Waratahs do NOT get preference at Allianz.

It happened once at Kogarah and i went to both games, one at 3.00pm and one at 7.30pm at the SCG. A good few jars consumed that day !
Sutho the clashing I was meaning during winter is more clearly - your league game koff is say 3pm at Allianz, your SFC game wherever it maybe is at 3pm at XYZ nearby - which takes your attention ?
and no matter the times I mention just take it whatever times are within half hour of koff's no matter where the games are over east which one do you not attend ?

Agree 100%. I am completely over this inferiority complex football has in this country, running scared from the other codes. Its demeaning and embarrassing. Bring on the line in the sand.
The FA, hands tied and scared ever since AL.
The inferiority complex is like a rabbit staring in front of headlights !
The AL dream has led the game up the garden path of commercialism that true is needed but left the bulk in the sand pit that could have helped support numbers needed on more regular base's to build on than suedo com si com sa supporters.

I will cross that bridge when it realistically might happen.

What a tough question, AL or AFL or NRL...ive not ever given nor would ever give a dime to ANY of the above to be honest (not even free tv time).... NSL then, NPL/and NST now only, otherwise peppa pig it would be gladly... to put it more bluntly im more likely to go watch Preston or Heidelberg (and thats saying it all right there! 🤣) than any of the 3!
But hey, i dont sugar coat my dislikes nor the reasons for them! Lol

There's the thing. We should respect a person's decision whether they chose to follow a particular sport, or even a particular league within a sport. Famously one of my friends who is an avid NRL fan was talking about the upcoming State of Origin game and another friend innocently asked "Who's playing?" the first friend still cannot believe the (so called) ignorance of our mutual friend.
I have taken the second bloke to an A League game, which he enjoyed, but he won't ever become a fan of the game.
PS, good for you to watch the "enemy".
