This is not entirely a new thing in Australian football, it was also done in the previous carnation.

we know mate the point is we finally got to move on from 20/30/40yrs ago don't ya fink.

We are NOT moving forward for the good of the game to develop more and present more opportunity for starters and to grow attendance.

I agree, but we can't move forward until we let go of the past. A lot of people will NOT let it go. ( Not you, BTW )

So to establish this further yet again, for you "the past" is at fault for the failures of "the new" to address the exact issues it was designed to address and depsite the rwalities staring you in the face year on year you still continue to see the one fault as being "the past" you depsise so much even when you try to hide it ... awesome logic!

I do not despise the past, as it should shape the future, but not in Australian football. You are a big part of the problem, yet you can't see it, due to your blind hatred of everything, not Greek, it seems.

I don’t think some of this is warranted sutho.
The ol clubs sure had dislike and hate originally and it lags in a minor form but let’s face it 20yrs has passed over and the game still kicks on and the clubs usual business.
Individual dislikes is not a big part of the problem anymore at all - water under the bridge and this type of counter arguing actually keeps it going but tbh for the better cause but it ends up being futile typically.
No ol club ever quoted to be everything anything in the comp as well, you are saying this - infact all clubs make up the flavour of Aussie football that’s the crux of it all - we are multi cultural after all and Aussie in the big picture.
The big part of the problem is the barriers stopping our game getting it together not what one poster says compared to another.

Not sure that's right.

The bigger problem from my reading of the tea leaf's and tarot cards is the inability to connect to the player base.

APL can't get the Euro snob to watch, similar to the NSL, nor can they get the bucket KFC heads to watch. There off watching the big bash.

An aging and shrinking NSL old boys is not the problem it's gaining respect from the football family

The real problem with AU football was and remains people like you, (despite your failed attempt to gaslight) clearly, and those like minded to you, who saw themselves as "kings in the place of the king" doing exactly what they accused others of, but on a grander scale while still looking to point the finger... all hypocricy and amorality!

As I have said countless times on both boards, there is not a thing or person on these boards that can upset me. Most of it to me is hilarious, watching you lot jump all over me, when I hit the raw nerves, which, is quite often, it seems.
