A-league attendances 24/25

So the Adelaide Aleague fans rock up every week knowing their club doesn't care if they win or lose? hahahaha thats hilarious.
Veart and the players care. That's why AU is in second place and still worth watching. Mysterious owners in China- nobody gives them much thought. Always hoping that the current crop of players will achieve something before they disappear. Or like Craig Goodwin, come and go on a regular basis.

Yeah that's how I see it we support the boys and try not to think of the fucking suits

Regarding player development - all leagues around the world are nothing more than development leagues for the big 5 in Europe. And the sooner the clubs come to accept this then they can build around that. This means more money for the clubs if they sign and develop the right players. For the fans, we have the national team. Just go and read the comments in the U20 thread, specially regarding Bennie.
Do we need grounds with lower capacity and more training space? Yes but FA is not the AFL or NRL where state and federal governments build the grounds for them or redevelop them. As fans we could help by demanding that other sports share some of the loot.
Do the players and coaches care at MC? Absolutely, they are professionals and don't tell me that Caputo, Wong, Memehti don't dream of landing a European league contract. The real problem is when you have journeyman like Lachlan Wales and a few others and of course bringing star footballers way past their prime - hello Mata. Visa players should be better than the local product and be able to assist the development of the younger players.

Lachlan Wales is needed in the league but it's stupid when he goes to four different clubs. You want players to stay at the club and become club legends

He has been at 4 different clubs because he is useful but not a necessity. And I just chose him as an example, you will find a few players like that.

just over 27k for the NZ derby.
The only derbies in the A League take place in Sydney and Melbourne.

According to the Cambridge dictionary a derby is a sports event between teams in the same area or town.

Auckland is 646 kilometres from Wellington so it is not a derby.

Being the only A-League sides on the north island and NZ in general its still a derby to many and myself. Even though the Nix lost all 3 games against them they have been great games to watch with great crowds.

By definition it is not.
