The only shit part was Beckham scoring the winner in the final....While we're on the topic goal 2 sucked
Sacking the agent really ruined it for me
I feel I was the only one encouraging him to cheat on his long distance girlfriend with the Spanish TV host. While we're on the topic goal 2 sucked

Interesting, Kitwally.About 5000 extra people turned up because they had free tickets that were handed out to registered players in WA in 2024……..
That is pretty good - 12 - 13 000 average.I can honestly say i never seen any violence with the southern fairy boys. SFC have not really declined, we have a rusted on average of about 12-13000 over the the twenty seasons , not Covid affected.
In your next post you cite BBL as a factor, but didn't think think they have a BBL team in Gosford to compete with football?what is the cause in perth and ccm doing better this week?
A local sponsor bought up a number of tickets and distributed them to staff and staff of clients. In your next post you cite BBL as a factor, but didn't think think they have a BBL team in Gosford to compete with football?
Like you, I wonder why CCM drew so many too? Glory has been explained.
Thanks.A local sponsor bought up a number of tickets and distributed them to staff and staff of clients.
If we had an A-league team we would simply end up like Gold Coast and Northern Fury. After the first season and the hype wears off I don't see us pulling crowds over 5000. We need to start in the NST imoAs one wanting a Tassie based AL team, can anyone provide insights why Mac and Western are drawing appalling crowds?
Gallop used the adage 'fish where the fish are', but they haven't bitten! Geelong and southern Sydney are distinctive areas too.
I'm furious, because Gallop was a whisker away from approving a Tassie based team, but was lobbied by Fox not to award a Tas franchise. Then Fox withdrew from Aus football completely. Gallop had capitulated.
Having said that, both Mac and Western are playing some excellent football with very young teams. I just wish one was based in Hobart. They would be playing in front of bigger crowds.
Don't know about Macarthur but WU are based in Tarneit which is almost on the edge of north west Melbourne and is closer to Melton and is not part of the Geelong area. They did play a few games at Kardinia park but otherwise I don't think they have been back this season. As one wanting a Tassie based AL team, can anyone provide insights why Mac and Western are drawing appalling crowds?

I've noticed that EPL crowds have a lot of Indians so it doesn't seem to be impossibleDon't know about Macarthur but WU are based in Tarneit which is almost on the edge of north west Melbourne and is closer to Melton and is not part of the Geelong area. Tarneit is one of the fastest growing areas in Melbourne and is heavily populated by Indians, Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis (guess what sport they follow) as well as Somalians and Islanders. It is also a low income area with almost no public transport.
So when Gallop said "fish where the fish are", my immediate thought was that he is the kind of bloke that would sell bacon to Islamic and Jewish countries because look how many there are!
You have every right to be pissed because Foxtel and gallop screwed us then left usAs one wanting a Tassie based AL team, can anyone provide insights why Mac and Western are drawing appalling crowds?

Yes, i do, unless i am out of the country.That is pretty good - 12 - 13 000 average.
Do you attend every SFC game played in Sydney, SB?
I don't know about Macarthur but for WU, somebody forgot to turn the hose on and the lake is empty .... poor fish never had a chanceAs one wanting a Tassie based AL team, can anyone provide insights why Mac and Western are drawing appalling crowds?

While not doubting how passionate Indians are about cricket, they also have a very strong following for football.Don't know about Macarthur but WU are based in Tarneit which is almost on the edge of north west Melbourne and is closer to Melton and is not part of the Geelong area. Agree but I think the majority people referred to in the UK were probably born/raised there and grew up in the UK enjoying football and where football is the number one sport. Quite different to people that have emigrated from India where cricket is number one and is almost a religion. While not doubting how passionate Indians are about cricket, they also have a very strong following for football.
