Some posts doing the rounds that an innocent Wanderers fan was clocked from behind while in the catering queue but an Auckland active fan breaking his jaw in 3 places.

Yeah, nah. Sydney always gave the kids a go. It's ramped up however the past couple of years due to financial necessity.

They've got form. Last season they charged the family bay at Central Coast stadium. The stupid fucks then start sooking when the riot police are at literally every match they attend. Very special mentally those people.

They're not playing that bad. They were all over Sydney last night but finishing let them down.

It's a bit of a weird situation that you don't see that often. On one hand, they have scored the 3rd highest number of goals at 48 which is only 2 off the highest (WSW 50). On the other hand they have conceded the second highest number of goals (also 48), which puts them between Roar and Glory.
For me, I think it is probably more of a coaching/structure problem rather than a squad problem. I reckon the squad is capable, it's just the approach is a bit off. They could probably do with a better keeper. Maybe Jack Duncan could be a good option. His contract is up at the end of the season. He was performing well prior to Langerak arriving in Jan.
Veart's contract is up at the end of the season. If they miss finals, I reckon they might move on to someone else.

Adelaide have three keepers, and the one with the least experience played against Sydney. Vartuli. In fact he was making his senior debut.
Was this a decision by Veart, or did circumstances cause it?
If it was Veart's decision he should be sacked.

I can't remember a successful keeper for australia that didn't have howlers early in their career

you have to be patient with young keepers or by the time they get match experience it is too late for them to have a high ceiling
