Aussies abroad

Watching the Spurs v West Ham on Optus, who'd want to be a coach? After 35 minutes it's finally one all. Spurs have spurned so many chances, then a keeper save hits the post, bounces across the goal and spins in off the inside of the further post.

Cardiff seem to be turning their season around. Here is hoping portsmouth and qpr do too

Muscat's Shanghai Port loses the match and top spot with just two matches remaining. Not good timing.

Cameron Burgess starting for Ipswich. Sofascore and Fotmob both show him as LCB. Forza shows RB, which I think has to be an error.

Burgess just tidy against Japan and shows he's never far off. At 96 Schalke so will check all reactions later as this is a big change for Ipswich.

Some of the "lesser lights" of overseas Australians were in action earlier this afternoon.

In JLeague, Mitch Duke a 72 min sub on for Machida Zelvia. Mitch Langerak his usual full game for Nagoya.

In K League 2, Peter Makrillos started and played 67 minutes for Suwon Bluewings and Connor Chapman played a full game for Gimpo FC.

In Italy, Sebastian Esposito played another full game for Lecce in Primevera 1.

And in a game which finished a short while ago tonight, in Finland Luke Ivanovic was subbed on in the 69th minute for Lahti.
