Apparently the purchaser of the Foxtel shares is the parent company of DANZ, so the next rights of all football in Aust is, I think, a lot more interesting.

I just use it through Prime, so not sure how the P+ app goes anymore. Last time I used it was back when it was still 10 All Access.

It works fine. Has all the games, replays, highlights and everything else.

It’s bloody good news if some of these peripheral streaming platforms such as Optus start dropping off.

A Saudi company has invested a billion dollars in DAZN. That'll write off their operational loss of a bit more than that. They're leaking way too much. These are losses, not small profit.

They alienated the German market with their pub fees and general packages but it's small fry compared to their NFL game pass revenue. Still, they lost a billion is a year.

The big events will really need to rake it in.

Stan is a massive improvement on Optus.

Will also be nice to be able to watch replays in 50fps. Optus removed linear channels and downgraded replays this season to 25fps to save on bandwidth. Made anything not live unwatchable in my opinion.

Do you have Stan Sport? It’s a massive step up vs Optus. They have all of the different types of replays / mini matches as well and at much better quality.

Stan to stream Premier League under shared rights deal with Optus

Stan will begin streaming the English Premier League from August following a complex rights arrangement with Optus.

Stan Sport currently requires a $27 minimum monthly subscription. Based on that figure, it would need approximately 185,000 new subscribers to break even on the Premier League component of the deal alone, excluding production and operational costs.
