I just glad that the Dogs are back to being like the club I originally supported.

Scouting and developing players, training hard, not necessarily the most talented team, but having a dig.

We lost our way badly 1998-2020 and a lot of that started at the top with power grabs and politics.

The NRL is best when all clubs are in reasonable shape and the comp is close.

I can remember a lot of very competitive games against Manly 1978-1998, Cliffy Lyons is a legend, I always enjoyed watching him play.

Dogs best players have always been home grown that is the same for Manly and most other clubs.

The Entertainers tag I know very well.
Huge times for the club.
Many would have been turning in their grave the recent years - a farce as you’ve expressed.
Mind you many clubs go through this incl Manly.
Who would have thought damn penriff got to be the force they have become in modern times.

Fox is reporting that Leo Thompson has signed for the Dogs 4 years starting in 2026.

I was a bit old to sit on Santa's knee, but it worked .... I hope.

Excellent…. I credit BloodyNora for setting the example round 14 vs Newcastle nigh on 7 years ago post Punters.com, and importantly the RLcom team a million years ago… The FB breakawayscrew can still GGF… 😘

From what I’ve seen, there’s plenty of sports loving lunatics on this site from all sides of everything; should be fun….

Im confused... Do i post QPR, Hawthorn, Perth Glory, Kansas City Chiefs stuff on this page or do i have to put it in the correct thread?

What if Dman is depending on me to update him on QPR results?

There is a special off-topic thread for the AFL posts.
 
As we post more here mentioning players names etc, that will come up on web searches.

In addition to some of our lost posters finding the site, some new contributors would be a good thing.

All are welcome, but Parra fans are only welcome if they admit that Parra is crap and the Dogs are a far better club. 😉

As mentioned in a previous post I’m a mighty Sea Eagle supporter from the ol days.
I lost the plot a bit with the game due to the super league debacle but keep my eye on results and always keep watching SOO and the big games even though the real football is my #1 passion.
The mention of QPR or anything real football should go towards the related threads you’d find in here.
General football topics thread for eg.
Crowding your NRL thread would muddy it up a lot plus be good to see you guys get involved in the round ball threads if inclined.
I agree about parra stuff em let alone that other egg ball game afl - < can’t stand it hope it doesn’t get much traction in GG at all :)

Look forward stirring youse up when Manly wins Haha

Anything that isn't a real sport (e.g. AFL) belongs in off-topic.

My soccer team (West Ham) sucks my NFL team (Chicago Bears) is worse, but at least they are real sports.
