Chronicles of a stable genius - all the biggliest stuff

Will be interesting to see if China steps into the void with America's pullback from foreign aid.

They're already all over Africa, Asia and the Pacific pouring billions into countries and securing agreements and alliances. (And building bases.)

It's seems, on the face of it, a backward step for a country that wants to 'project power'.

China's foreign aid is what it is. Its for mutual benefit.

Whereas America's foreign aid is to the benefit of plunderers of the nation the 'aid' is going to.

Muzarumba (sorry if I got the spelling wrong), you really don't get that you are indoctrinated by the Mainstream Media.

Trump's people keep saying this is not withdrawing from genuine aid, but cutting programs such as:

“$1.5M to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces.”
“$70k for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland.”
“$47k for a transgender opera in Colombia.”
“$32k for a transgender comic book in Peru.”

(Quote): Many Americans ... [including people like Muz] ... may still have the idea that USAID is a government agency delivering relief at disaster sites overseas. They may still remember the bags of rice or grain with the USAID logo on them, but that is not USAID. USAID is a key component of the U.S. government’s regime change operations worldwide. USAID spends billions of dollars every year propping up NGOs overseas that function as shadow governments, eating away at elected governments that U.S. interventionists want to overthrow."

Muz, listen to the conservative understanding of the USAID scandal.

Except when the poor African, Asian or Pacific government cannot meet repayments, then China takes control of the airport, shipping port etc. etc.

It is China using its wealth - that was gained from western nations outsourcing their manufacturing for massive profits to western corporations - and using that Chinese wealth to build influence in Africa, Asia, Pacific and South America.

I'll be leading both Educators For Peace ( Australian Education Union) and Retired Unionist Network delegations. This week the Health Union, United Workers' Union, CEPU (electricians), CPSU ( public servants), ASU, AMWU, should all have a presence too.

TPAN thought they had few powerful friends. The union movement is easily the biggest progressive movement in Aus, with circa 2 million members. The rank and file of the Labor party, manifesting in the Auswide Labor Friends of Palestine; plus the Greens, both rank and file members and Parl Green Party; should be attending en masse too.
Hilarious.

Best wishes to you and your three comrades and I look forward to seeing the photos.

Dust off those wobble boards, champ (y)

The article says "All the shocking ways USAID spent your money' then goes on to list 1.65 million of expenditures out of a 30 billion USD aid budget.

Using my brain, I'd say there are two possibilities here:

A. Daily male is counting on your ADHD and getting so exhausted by a list of 4 things that you then think said list accounts for the entire 30 billion US aid budget

OR 2.

B. Daily male is counting on your naevity to think you can cherry pick 1.65 million USD out of a 30 billion budget and somehow convince someone it's representative of the 29,998,350,000.

Both are likely candidates. For instance, being someone who needs AI to think for him, that hitches your wagon to something that can spit something it scraped, but not think critically about what it means. In which case, you'd absolutely 'think' it's representative, becase it's something you can copy, paste and even pute into prose (boy oh boy wowee!). But, considering other contextual factors such as your lack of a life, job, hobbies, anything that can hold your attention for an hour etc, the ADHD factor is hard to ignore either.

I'm going to go with:

C. You're a tool

Would say it's unbelievable but it was always on the cards
Gaza has a population density of roughly 6,000 people/km2. Not withstanding obvious factors like being walled in and embargoed, it's still not capable of housing people in its form and offering any form of quality of life.

Trump's 'plan' may or may not be a plan at all. If it is a plan, it's probably not as big as he likes you to think it is*

I'm not going to give any form of support or opposition to it, but rather offer 2 points

1. Gaza is a dumpster fire. Some see the solution is to pour water on it, others think it's a top idea not to set it on fire in the first place. This solution approaches a problem in a different way, and any solution to date probably doesn't solve anything anyway. AND, it's probably for selfish reasons and it's probably just a ploy to shake a tree because you think more apples will fall where you want them.

2. Israel overplayed its hand and so did the Palestinians. Their issues occupies a pretty central point of politics but I think it's safe to say that outside the political establishment, the silent majority doesn't give half a shit about any side. The country I live in is, for historial reasons, one of the firmest allies of Israel and I've never heard anything in the local media that even gives a partisan view on the conflict or heard an every day person even have an opinion on it. Everyone is over this shit.

Given the alternatives of the shocking news of the USAID being the "tip of the iceberg" or a "mountain out of a molehill" - people tend to interpret following Party (or ideological) lines.

Let's see in a few weeks/months after Elon Musk's team burrows further.

'US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that prevents transgender women from competing in female categories of sports."

A victory for women's rights and one small step forward to arresting the slide of rapidly crumbling standards.

fair response..... Dumpster fir Gaza may indeed be but, for many moons, it has been considered a prime bit of coastal real estate... I wonder who will snap it up in the end?

a hugely important move for Trump to help reduce the countries debt and improve the living standard of the 50% of people below the poverty line....

Trump views every issue as transactional.

This bozo just sees this millenia old problem as a real estate opportunity.

IE. How can I make more money.

If a President solves one problem initially, it does not reflect a lack of concern for the other problems.

Given that President Donald J. Trump has been in his 2nd term for just 2 weeks, it's reveals a snide and snarky sinister personality to be so adamant in criticism.

Moreover, your criticism is child-like, because it IGNORES the massive efforts the Trump Administration is taking to reduce debt, by cutting silly spending, in parallel with reducing energy prices by drilling more oil (Trump's phrase, "drill, baby, drill").

Today's examples of USAID's wasteful spending under the Leftist Democrats:

  • $2M for sex changes in Guatemala

  • $6M to fund tourism in Egypt

  • $20M on a new Sesame St. show in Iraq

  • $4.5M to combat disinformation in Kazakhstan

See the White House Press Secretary speak this information:

In terms of reducing costs, see the efforts the Trump Administration is taking to drill for more oil to reduce energy costs - that affects the cost of EVERYTHING.

Most people are like that - they are not governed by facts and evidence. It's perhaps a reason why 50% of couples end in divorce, because people are essentially not fair minded. They do not listen to reason. Deep in their heart they just want to hit out at people that they hate. And when you point out their lack of logic, their hatred erupts like a volcano.
