It was pretty obvious to me at the time a large scale psychological operation was being carried out by the media globally on behalf of a central authority.

This, at first glance appears to be me scoring an "own goal" where Musk is citing something that first started under Trump's 1st term. Hence, the reason for @tsf and @Muz clutching their participation trophies.

The background is that, when Trump began his first term, he was a Washington-outsider, and virtually all his nominations for key roles were recommended to him by Washington-insiders, who in turn recommended other Washington-insiders.

Those nominations, for the most part, loathed Trump and saw it as their moral duty to undercut Trump's 1st term agenda. It is therefore astounding how much Trump achieved in his 1st term in the face of such opposition.

This Reuters project "LARGE SCALE SOCIAL DECEPTION" was ostensibly meant to counter misinformation. But who got to define what was misinformation? It was the Washington bureaucrats, Big Tech and the Mainstream Media that defined that was, and was not, misinformation.

Therefore, just because the Reuters program started under Trump's 1st administration - you have to ascertain whether it was (1) something that Trump ordered, or (2) whether it was something that the bureaucrats instigated either in opposition or opposite to Trump's 1st term agenda.

If you see how the Department of Justice, and FBI operated to undermine Trump ("Operation Crossfire Hurricane" where the FBI and DoJ dragged Trump through years of investigations on the allegation Trump was a Russian spy, all based on the Democrat-originated "Steele Dossier").

In particular, it was also Republicans who undermined Trump, e.g. Mitch McConnell yesterday being the only one to vote against Trump's nomination. Christopher Wray is a Republican. Republicans were among those who greatly opposed Trump.

Now, in Trump's 2nd term, with his team of total Washington-outsiders, Trump is cleaning shop.

Good point, @tsf

The Thomson Reuters program was against the principle of free speech that Trump is pushing. Free speech means all voices have equal access on the level playing field, and may the best ideas win.

For instance, even on this forum, so much ©®∆Þ, but it is not overcome by censorship, but by presenting facts, evidence and sound reasoning. That's how to develop a strong Australia, instead of doing political deception to silence one's opponents.

In the daily stream of news stories of the fraud, corruption and waste being uncovered by Elon Musk's DOGE team, the reader comments contain so many comments from other countries wishing the same audits could be done in their corrupt countries.

For example, you look at the bloat and debt that Daniel Andrews left the State of Victoria in, how much crazy spending do you think a DOGE team would find?

I suspect Australia is not ready for that level of reality. Taking this football forum as a sample of typical Australians, too many people are too far left. Very few people on this forum have voiced approval of the Elon Musk audits.

Funny if Musk could start an auditing company with trained AI-savvy people to do the same DOGE treatment.
 
I just read that once Kash Patel becomes FBI chief, he's going to reveal the Epstein list, so it got me thinking of the sequence of events over the next 4 years.

FINANCIAL CORRUPTION: Already, Elon Musk blowing lid off massive corruption and stupid spending - and he's only so far started with a few Departments. Imagine this carrying on for a year, going through every Department of U.S. federal government.

MORAL CORRUPTION: Kash Patel's release of the Epstein files reveals the names of the morally corrupt powerful people. Who knows what Tulsi Gabbard (DNI) and John Ratcliff (CIA) have got planned.

MILITARY: Wait till Elon Musk and Pete Hesgeth go through the books of the U.S. military.

BIG PHARMA: RFK Jr takes a blowtorch to corruption in Big Pharma

By now, the people will realise why the entire Washington establishment wanted Trump to be killed.

Then Kristi Noem conducts a real investigation of the US Secret Service to get answers to questions that were covered up by the Democrats, e.g. the shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks had two cell phones and used three encrypted accounts overseas to communicate. Who was he comunicating with? Why did the US Secret Service AND THE MEDIA kill the story and not ask those type of questions.

Let's say, in about a year's time, when the masses of average people slowly catch on to the level of evil corruption, maybe that's the time to open an investigation into 2020 Election Fraud, because -- once people see the evil - they'd realise those people were capable of doing anything to stop Donald Trump being president.

And if there was 2020 fraud that swung the election: (1) the J6 protestors were not tearing down democracy, but they were the ultimate patriots, and (2) hey, maybe its a case to give Trump a third term since his 2nd term was stolen by fraud??

I'm just musing. The next 2 years will be fascinating. And of course, we can rely on the huffy, sweaty blokes on the football forum to fight and deny every shred of evidence that comes out.

So, Epstein list. Someone who has some information and is going to release it at an expedient time for some purpose. Yes, let's trust everything about something like that.

This attack-article against Trump and Elon Musk by the Australian writer, in the Melbourne Age - I don't know how the reader comments being wholly anti-Trump reflect the reality in Australia. Melbourne is a Leftist stronghold, and The AGE is a Leftist propaganda outlet. And I know that over the recent decades, virtually none of my reader comments submitted to The AGE are ever published, which means that The AGE censors conservative/Right-leaning comments.

If we step back and see this from the biggest picture, the majority of people on this forum are not just Centre-Left, and actually Far-Far Left, Australia being Far more Left than it chooses to acknowledge.

My rationale:

- a Centre-Left person who acknowledge their difference with @johnsmith's Centre-Right opinions

- but a Far-Far-Left person would regard @johnsmith's Centre-Right comments as being idiotic and crazy. That would demonstrate how far Left the person is.
