The Putin fan boys/MAGA don't like Zelensky because he has exposed their hardman Putin and embarrassed him. He's shown what was considered to be a sophisticated war machine with strong soldiers to be a pack of useless drunks, and other people to run.

For god sake they're importing soldiers from North Korea. It will take 10+ years to build the Russian army back up again.

I can't back anything up with sources but here is my take:

Russia has yet to commit their best troops. The lesser troops they have been using are now battle hardened and experienced. Russia's old outdated equipment has been upgraded and recycled and is now fully restored and effective. In the time Ukraine has been fighting Russia has learnt how to destroy every tank that the rest of the world can bring against them. Russia has perfected drone warfare and is continuing to improve anti-drone tactics as they emerge. Every time the Ukraine has 'broken through' the lines they have found themselves boxed into mined, targetted space with strong Russian lines on either side. The Ukraine and US continue to parade their proudest moments and best equipment on the internet, allowing Russia to identify targets and reverse engineer or protect against attacks. If Ukraine had folded quickly, there would have been a lot of population 'behind Russian lines' with an axe to grind for generations - the longer the war goes on the less Ukranians there are in residence heading into the future.

I don't think Putin is being exposed and Russia embarrassed in any way that they have not setup themselves.

I disagree on this take on a few points:

1. They did send a lot of their best. However, they sent a lot of poorly trained conscripts as well. They didn't send middle strength troops but it's not necessarily clear that they had it in the first place.

2. They had a tank count that dwarfed others, but they were old and shit. Literally WW2/Warsaw Pact era. They refurbished a lot of it and sent it to the front line and it got wiped out instantly. Literally refurbishing tanks from museums and scrap yards in the mix. They weren't 'updated' or 'upgraded', they were made roadworthy. That's half the reason they lose so damned many of them there. The other half of the reason is:

3. Neither Ukraine or Russia has air superiority. This is highly attritional WW1 style trench warfare all over the place with drones buzzing around. Tanks are sitting ducks for both sides. Russia loses more because they have more and they're sending lemmings in them to get picked off. So, you picked up a scrap WW2 tank, welded the hole in the bottom shut, filled it with pedophiles and murderers and told it to drive straight toward the front line or you'll blow it up from behind. And you had 1,000 more in line. If you're Russia, do you give a fuck? You just saved money on jails and feeding the german shepards on a tank scrapyard AND paid a welder!

4. Warfare has changed since the last major conflicts. It's amazing how much of this one is drones and how capable they are. About a 3rd of Russia's Black Sea fleet has been sunk by a country that doesn't have a navy! Literally remote control jetskis with a bomb attached! The Moskva, the pride of the entire fleet was sunk by 1. flying a couple of drones towards it and getting it to shoot in the sky while 2. a jetski on autopilot ran into it. A 200m missile cruiser downed by something you can buy in an advernture/outdoors shop + explosives. Russian prestige my ass and the country that is losing more people and a 3rd of its navy to a country without a navy isn't "perfecting drone warfare". In fact, they're not making the drones at all. They're Shahed drones supplied by Iran (another shit hole). The back sea fleet is now either a reef or a black crater in drydock and the only explanation is "america did it, wahh wahh". Fuckin jetskis, let it "sink" in.

Regarding the embarassment of Putin, it's breaks the illusion he had of strength he had in the West. He is utterly embarrassing himself with the level of losses. But internally, Russians are very proud and double, triple, quadruple down. Nobody is calling out the bullshit because his opponents are dead. Babushka doesn't give a shit that her grandkids are dead because she never had a happy life anyway.

As for his proposed plan to deport 11 million illegals he will find this will be enormously expensive and initially again he will have support but when he has to abandon it due to the expense his supporters including the Latinos who voted for him will be more than unhappy.Also those businesses in the border states-Texas,New Mexico,Arizona who use the cheap labour of these illegal migrants will find the costs of running their businesses will become exorbitant and may spell their ruin.

His much vaunted tax cuts will cause a blow out in the already ginormous US deficit and fuel inflation .If interest rates go up of course this will affect many poorer and middle class Americans and there will be a pushback against Trumpian economic policies.

His VP JD Vance is a clever and opportunistic politician.As time goes on Donald will not like to be outshone by him and this will cause problems as Vance will not be willing to be a supine support.Vance is ambitious and if Trump tries to amend the legislation limiting him to two terms Vance will not be a happy boy and will oppose him.By then Donald will be in his eighties and will have loss some of his vitality.

Of course you can say this is all hypothetical and he will triumph over all with his usual bluster and bullshit but I feel that all will not stay rosy in America and indeed even in the Republican party.

The Democrats will need to find a strong,intelligent and reasonably young leader who can win back their old demographic base of working class Americans,especially young black and Hispanic men.

A conspiracy - by dictionary definition - is where a group of people coordinate to achieve a sinister end result. Thus, a "conspiracy theory" is where one suspects that a conspiracy has occurred. That is the plain definition. BUT somewhere along the line, the masters of spin and manipulation taught an entire generation of sheep that "conspiracy theory" is a slander that people who believe something are idiots and fools. RTS has already added some points, but the fact is the Russian army is incredible weaker. Let's not forget they thought this would be over in 3 days. If another war started now what would they do? Have you seen the equipment they are importing and using? To say their equipment has been upgraded and recycled is naive. They have in small parts, but in no way a sufficient number. Also the brain drain from Russia is going to kill them in the next ten years. Many with an education and cash have tried to leave.

And perhaps the most important of all - where are they going to get microchip technology? They're screwed without a quick answer to this question.

Let's not forget the Russians are a professional army fighting an army of citizens. Citizens who refuse to back down and hide, while Putin is a paranoid recluse.

I have some close friends at the moment fighting in Ukraine, so I get a lot of interesting insights - they have showed incredible resilience.

You, JS96, I'm not sure how old you are. But somewhere back in your primary school days, they were trying to teach you to think. Hence, consider this:

- a theory. In science class, what the teacher train you to do with "theories"??? The answer is: YOU TEST THE THEORY TO SEE IF THE THEORY IS TRUE.

- a theory in itself could be true, or could be false. So it needs to be tested. Tested against evidence and facts.

But somewhere, you or your entire generation has been given an opposite spin, that when something is labelled a THEORY, you are trained like a lab-rat to run in the opposite direction, because the word "theory" is now defined as being nonsense. i.e. if you believe the theory then you're an idiot.

If you cannot follow my logical flow of explanation, it means the indoctrination is strong in you.

You cannot believe a theory UNTIL it has been TESTED to be true.

No one should believe a theory. A theory is merely someone's guess or postulation. We can only believe a theory AFTER it has been proved to be fact.

I'll summarise:

1) If someone tries to persuade you by insulting something as a "conspiracy theory" - you are dealing with a deceiver, or a deceived person. They are spinning you.

2) Whereas, if a person says, if it's a conspiracy theory, then their instant response is: let us test the conspiracy THEORY by facts and evidence to see if the theory is true or false ... that is a person of truth. Very, very rare.
