I grew up in regional Victoria and now live in FNQ. I didn't discover football until I was about 15. There just wasn't the exposure. When I did I was hooked. I used to watch TWG and the EPL highlights shows. Johnny Warren was king. I loved all the AA stuff and would get up early to watch any game with an AA in it.

I reckon indoor soccer is the funnest game to play, have loved it since I found it, but wish I had found it earlier. I have better footskills with a Sherrin because thats what I learnt young.

My favourite football memory is the Brazil World Cup. I went with my brother and only had the one ticket to the game v Chile in Cuiaba. We grafted the other tickets for Netherlands in Porto Alegre and Spain in Curitiba. I jumbed so high when Cahill hit the volley v Netherlands I lost my Oakleys a couple of bays away. Still remember the Brazilian kids all saying "quatro, quatro!" for Cahill (no. 4) when they saw you wearing the Aussie kit.

I love having this forum and learning more about the game from all the great posters here. I used to post on BigSoccer years ago before a break. That WonderKids thread was the best. It's good to have somewhere to post, connect and talk shit.

I have never heard John refer to himself as a sovereign citizen, nor make any references to 5G. Why are you so aggressive to new posters?
