At seasons end absolutely another crack at JA as number 1 choice, Tolios 2nd.

Short term, as in literally the next few weeks. Marinos would be a great choice to see out 2025, had the youngest team in the league playing exciting football last yr, and had Port in the top 6 right up until the player exodus, which ironically opened the door for Dandy City and Tolios to sneak in. Marinos also coached our under 21s for many years so knows the club well.

I think something the club has sorely lacked is a coach that can be the leader and face of the club. Chris Taylor was excellent in that role. Esteban does his optus nonsense but never gives club interviews, nothing pre or post matches. I've never seen him as a good fit for the club.

Whilst he is my 3rd choice overall, bringing in Marinos as a short term in the next few weeks would breath a bit of life into the club. A new voice for the players, and you know he wont hide from the cameras. The club just needs to give him a mandate that his primary purpose is to change the way we play (we arent a finals contender this year)

Silver lining is that at least we can now start to think about the season ahead .. the big bad plastic "match of the decade" is behind us.... now lets get back to grinding out a season and planning for the Championship please........

The next 2 matches will be season defining! Win them and you can settle the critics (like me) somewhat, lose them and the board will have to act..

Im truly conflicted in what i want however, like most of us i assume. On the one hand I hate to see us lose to anyone, and it ruins my week to say the least, but in this case if it means Esteban waves goodbye and we can save the season, id take the hits to focus longeterm on the championship..

Ive calmed down a little over Esteban .... Ill give him the benefit of the doubt over the next two matches... Both challenging, both ultimately season defining I agree... Im gonna drag my arse over to Dandy on Saturday, hating every single km I clock up getting there, hating myself for not being able to resist going, and hoping for a miracle...

Defs credit to you, braving the elements, the distance, and above all our recent form! Hoping the drive back for you is better than the last one!!
This one is a non starter in the calendar for me personally! Too many "red backed" flags in a row from last week through to the next without a blue and white background to break the monochrome... only so much one can take! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oh am definitely a sucker for punishment.... I wasnt planning on going but since the game is pushed out I can take the fam to the beach come home, grab a bite and head out to Dandy .... Ahhh the kms we do for the blue and white...... wait till the Championship and Oceania CL starts? Thank God Ive got Qantas club :)

As for the flags, if you squint into the sun hard enough the red turns yellow:)

Now theres an idea for our marketing team, with OFC can come new sponsorship on board from Qantas!!
 
Just the thought regarding recent developments in our sport (even if the thought of this is hurting the green half ☘️☘️ to its very core) but with so much EPL investment perhaps its time for "the Hondro" Marinakis, to invest in SMFC.... 🤣🤣🤣

Over my dead body ... Il drop my membership in seconds.... not even joking. I mean its bad enough that mourgo Kokkali is sponsoring the all abilities team through Intralot ...IF the fat heroin dealer was ever involved with Hellas Id be done.
