Lol. The constable refused to make a complaint initially saying he wasnt offended. 11 months later, in a second statement, he claims he was 'offended'.

Someone had an axe to grind.

Yes plenty behind the storey Muz, typical no.
Years of police corruption etcetc that is being investigated last couple of years I've heard and like 60 cops a day being questioned but that’s not to deflect how she behaved/spoke/disrespect as an idol at the same time.

Like I said mate I agree. Charge her with criminal damage and drunk and disorderly behaviour.

My objection is for her, and by inference anyone, getting a criminal record for 'hurt feelings'.

If it can happen to her, it can happen to you or me.

Yeah mate, I get ya.. it does smell a little off.... All im saying is that this sort of thing should apply to ALL, regardless of sex or fame or whatever.... In saying that im sure if it was just your average mug calling the copper a fat whit twat or whatever it wouldnt even make it to court...
 
FA were always going to be skating on thin ice by annointing Kerr as a "role model", given that she is pretty dumb with no personality. It was always bound to backfire. Doubt if we will see her again in green and gold now. She was/is a great player and I enjoyed watching her play for Australia.

How was she annoited? She was the best player here got a good profile so she was the face of the Matilda's due to how good she was. For once this isn't the suits faults it's hers

It reminds me of when Isaiah Thomas was picked up on a hot mic after bowing out to the Celtics in the 1987 NBA Finals, claiming Larry Bird was just a "good guy" and if he was black people would think he was just another player.

There was mass-outrage about his comment, and a press conference was arranged with Isaiah and Larry sitting at a table where Isaiah was meant to apologise before he completely doubled down and just dug the hole further and further for himself. It's like watching one of those cringe scenes out of The Office.

Now while Isaiah's comment was a massive disrespect to Larry Bird as a player, I didn't personally feel offended by it. If Isaiah Thomas (and people like him) think people with my melanin levels suck at basketball, so be it.

Likewise, while I don't want Sam Kerr sacked for saying what she did, we should at least treat it the same as if a caucasian player made a disparaging comment about a black officer. I'm a bit of a hard-liner when it comes to freedom of speech, at the same time what is good for the goose surely is good for the gander.

Another video just dropped of Sam's deplorable behaviour in the police station, showing what an entitled, arrogant and objectionable person she is. Can't say I'm remotely surprised. Particularly galling that she's tried to twist the narrative to make out that the police officer was racist, when literally all the evidence is to the contrary. Well and truly exposed for the very ordinary person she is. Their story is so full of holes and contradictions, it's embarrassing.
