Summer of Cricket thread

Some consolidation now by this pair. Need to keep it at two down at lunch.
 
Even at 35 Smithy showing with that cover drive he still has acute hand/eye co ordination.

that wicket was earnt due to the previous delivery hitting him

labuschagne has been leaving well all morning but has a concentration lapse

he needed to delay the game a few seconds, do some gardening. Anyway, too late now. But if you are a kid, game management is as important as technique
 
Late footwork brings Labuchagne undone. Batted well up to that point.

A worst case scenario of 3- for 50. 3-46 actually. We are now under immense pressure with lunch coming up because of dumb selections. Sack Bailey/Dodemaide/McDonald if we lose this..

yeah got hit the ball before, you often see that. Needed to delay the next ball to get your concentration back

I felt he needed to play it as ball was too close to his pads to leave as it ducked in with the angle. Watch his late defensive footwork in replay. Good follow up ball by Jansen.
